Crystal Palace Football Club are delighted to announce that they have signed a new deal with Italian sportswear company Errea, who will now supply the club with a range of official kit, training and leisure wear.
An initial two year deal has been agreed with Errea, starting with the forthcoming 2007/08 season and the new Palace home and away kits will be displayed prior to and at half time of Sunday's game with Derby County at Selhurst Park..
Errea, originally based in Parma, northern Italy and also with a UK based programme, are renowned for their top quality sportswear and equipment, featuring innovative designs and a growing reputation in the football world thanks to a number of technical sponsorship agreements with various clubs and organisations all over the world.
Speaking about the partnership, Palace Chairman Simon Jordan said: "I am delighted to be working with Errea and this is a fantastic move forward for both parties
"The Italians are renowned for their style and quality in the design and manufacture of clothes and I believe this year's kit will be received as one of the best yet."
Errea Sport Chairman Angelo Gandolfi added: "We are absolutely delighted to have signed this sponsorship with Crystal Palace Football Club.
"As a London club with such a fantastic history over the last 100 years, Palace are a club that we at Errea look forward to having a long and successful relationship with."
Errea Sport first broke into the UK football market with Middlesbrough FC in 1994 and they remain the technical kit sponsor of the Premiership club whilst their away shirt design for fellow Championship club Burnley was named as the 'Best Kit Design' at the Football League Awards of the 2006/07 season.
