Manufactured by new technical partners Umbro and emblazoned with the logo of the new principal partners XL.com. The new kit goes on sale exclusively through official outlets on Saturday (June 16) but you can pre-order yours now simply by visiting their brand new online megastore.

You can get your hands on the brand new West Ham United kit as soon as it is launched this Saturday, June 16. Our stores will be opening early to cope with demand as the exciting new design is unveiled.

The Club Megastore will be open from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm on Saturday and from 10.30am to 5.00pm on Sunday. The Lakeside store will be open from 8.00am to 7.30pm on Saturday and from 11.00am to 5.00pm on Sunday.

 

The West ham Umbro deal 

West ham have struck a deal with umbro to be thier new kit maufacturers: West Ham's kit will be manufactured by British firm Umbro from next season.

The tie-up was announced in London as the Hammers come to the end of their three-year deal with Reebok. It will be the first time that West Ham have worn an Umbro kit - although the Cheadle-based firm did produce a kit for the club in the late 60s which was never worn.

Umbro have been making football kits since the mid-1920s, and their 'double diamond' logo is a brand now recognised worldwide. As well as producing West Ham's new kit they also provide clothing for the English and Irish national teams, as well as a number of leading European clubs.

West Ham United today announced the signing of a Sponsorship Agreement with England kit manufacturers UMBRO for an initial three-year period.

UMBRO will be the exclusive supplier of the Hammers’ playing and training kit for the 2007/08, 2008/09 and 2009/10 seasons.

West Ham United, who were courted by a number of high-profile kit manufacturers, will be joining Umbro’s UK portfolio of Clubs including, Everton, Rangers, West Bromwich Albion, Nottingham Forest, Heart of Midlothian, Sunderland, Linfield and Glentoran as well as International teams such as Olympique Lyonnnias, Santos, Independiente, Cruz Azul, CSKA Moscow, Besiktas. Gamba Osaka. In addition UMBRO are also the kit manufactures for the National teams of England, Sweden, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Norway. Very nice kit-although I believe that there is too much black in all on account of the socks; perhaps if the socks had some kind of red accents that could break up the black a little. But nevertheless it is a very nice kit indeed.
