These are the new Chivas 08/09 home and away shirts made by Reebok. The team was founded on May 8th, 1906 by a young Belgian shopkeeper named Edgar Everaert , as Club de Futbol Union.
Their kit was modeled on that of the founder's favourite team, the Belgian Club Brugge K.V., which consisted of vertical stripes and the colour scheme was als modeled after Brugge's (which has since changed their team colours). The first team was formed with Mexican and French players (thus being named Union because of the comraderie between these players)

Saint-Étienne unveiled the new 08/09 Home and Away kits made by Adidas. A.S. Saint-Étienne was created in 1919 by members of the Amicale des employés de la Société des magasins Casino: members of the employees' Union of the Casino grocery chain.
Since green was the colour of the chain, green jerseys were also adopted. Due to FFF regulations, the commercial name Casino was dropped from the club's name in 1920. In order to keep the initials A.S.C, however, the club was re-named Amical Sporting Club.

Ebbsfleet United have launched their new home kit for the 2008-09 season with George Purcell and Luke Moore modelling the new teamwear. The new Nike kit was chosen following a vote on three options by MyFC members.
The winning design received 61.2% of the vote, far ahead of its two nearest rivals who each picked up around 19% of the vote. Nike is confident of orders being delivered on or before 14 July. The shirt will also be available to purchase at Stonebridge Road on Saturday 12 July at the EUFC v Charlton Athletic match.
The chosen away kit will be revealed and available for pre-order as soon as Nike are able to guarantee a delivery time.If you buy a shirt, it will go a long way to helping the Fleet’s youth and ladies teams. For every 250 shirts bought, Nike will kit out one of these teams for free (that includes 16 shirts, shorts and socks). So far, from replica sales from the FA Trophy, four entire kits have been donated. Hopefully sales of this season’s home and away kits will go towards more Fleet teams being supplied for free.

AZ unveiled their new Home, away and 3rd kits, supplied by their new kit supplier Canterbury of New Zealand.
AZ Football Director Marcel Brands and President Dirk Scheringa are delighted having completed a three-year partnership with Canterbury. "The official playing strip looks very fine. Canterbury’s global presence as well as their innovative and fresh thinking approach to kit manufacturing will help the club to develop both on and off the field and wonderfully fits our own image", explained Dirk Scheringa.
"We aim to make only minor changes in future to our home kit: a red shirt with white sleeves, which is in line with our traditional image", added Brands
Kew Jaliens, Stijn Schaars and Joey Didulica put on the new playing shirt at a special press conference held after the first training session. "It fits true to size and width and makes a nice change. The new kit will hopefully bring us luck."

These are the new Racing club de Lens 08/09 home and away kits made by Nike. After several changes of shirts during the first years of the club, at the end of the year 1923, the Racing club de Lens adopted the red and yellow colours.
One evening, while on a meeting, managers and players of the club went past the ruins of St Leger church of Lens. One of them noticedthat the ruins of the Saint-Léger church they happened to be walking by that night were the last remains of the Spanish occupation in 1648. Red and yellow colours appealed immediately to the president of that time, René Moglia. Players cure the blood and the gold shirts for the first time in 1924, during the opening of the stadium. The club's nickname, sang et or (literally, 'blood and gold'), comes from its traditional colours of red and gold.
