Everton 08/09 Umbro 3rd kit unveiled

Everton have revealed their new 08/09 Umbro 3rd kit. The fluorescent yellow jersey will be worn on Saturday when Everton take on West Brom Albion.

 

The kit, which also comprises navy shorts and yellow socks, will be the away kit for European matches too.

 

Names and numbers will be available in navy, with the special Uefa Cup numbers to be launched prior to the first round of the competition. With the likes of Barcelona adopting the flourescent look in recent years.

 

Everton midfield stars Mikel Arteta and Tim Cahill donned the kit for the photo shoot and were impressed with the new offering.

Sweden WC 1958 Anniversary Umbro football kit

Sweden played a World Cup 1958 Anniversary match against France (2-3) yesterday, and while France was wearing their new Home adidas kit, the swedish team was wearing a Sweden World Cup 1958  Home anniversary kit to celebrate the World Cup held in Sweden 50 years ago.

Umbro supported the anniversary by producing a Swedish Home kit inspired by the kit used in 1958. On Tuesday, the kit was shown for the first time and who was more suited to launch it than Agne Simonsson.

Agne who played in five of the six World Cup matches in 1958 made both the first and last Swedish goal in the tournament.

France World Cup 2010 qualifying Adidas shirt unveiled

France unveiled the new adidas home shirt for the World Cup 2010 qualifying campaign.

Although we showed you a leaked picture before, the home shirt was officially presented for the first time this Tuesday at Clairefontaine by Raymond Domenech and captain Thierry Henry.

Manchester City 08/09 Le Coq Sportif third kit

Manchester City will kick off the new league season at Villa Park sporting their new le coq sportif 08/09 third kit, which will be available to pre-order before the end of this month.

 

The blaze orange shirt, accompanied by navy shorts, will be available as a limited edition in the shops from 27th September, but you can pre-order yours from Tuesday, 26th August.

 

It will also be on display in the CityStore from tomorrow, so pop in and take a closer look.

Derby County 08/09 Away Adidas football Kit revealed

Derby County’s new 08/09 away Adidas kit was revealed to the public for the first time as part of Green Day - at the Carling Cup clash with Lincoln City.

 

Young professionals Mark Dudley, Paris Simmons, Mitch Hanson and Aleksandar Prijovic paraded the vibrant lime-green outfit at half-time against the Imps and it was well-received by the Pride Park crowd.

Along with the teams home shirt, the away shirt will carry the name of sponsors the Greenbank Group on the back. 

The green shirts were being launched as part of a Green Day to promote environmental awareness at the club and involve such innovations as players arriving at the ground in Toyota Hybrid cars, and the evening's edition of The Ram being printed on recycled paper.

Swindon Town 08/09 Home Lotto football shirt

The new Swindon Town home shirts for the 2008/09 season finally went on sale at the Club Shop on Thursday morning.

Queues began to form around 9am with great interest ahead of the launch of the new home shirts, which are sponsored by FourFourTwo.

 

Town legend Don Rogers joined Chief Executive, Nick Watkins, in welcoming supporters into the refurbished shop.

2008/09 home and away shorts are also now on sale in addition to the initial batch of 950 home shirts.

Scotland 08/10 Home Diadora football kit leaked

This is the new Scotland home 08/10 home kit made by Diadora. The kit has been revealed to the national press at Stirling Castle.

The new Home kit is a true combination of the latest in performance garment technology, Scottish football tradition and Italian styling and will be worn by the team for the first time against Northern Ireland on the 20th August 2008 at Hampden Park.

DHL delivers new Liverpool FC 08/09 3rd kits

Liverpool, in partnership with DHL Express UK, will ensure that fans have access to the new Liverpool FC European kit.

Thousands of Liverpool FC supporters have pre-ordered the shirt and the five times European Champions entrusted DHL with the task of ensuring over 10,000 new kits arrive in time for the start of the season.

The release of the new European shirt has been anticipated for several weeks and DHL has ensured the kit has remained under tight security and was delivered on time to various locations throughout Liverpool. Over the past couple of month’s DHL has delivered over 16,000 Home and Away shirts for Liverpool Football Club.


Ken McCall, CEO of DHL Express UK and Ireland said: “This was a big operation for DHL Express UK and we are proud to be given the opportunity from LFC.
