The FAW unveiled the new Home kit for the World Cup 2010 qualification made by Champion. 

JJB Sports and the FAW signed a 6 year deal which started on the 1st August and the New Home kit is launched on 7th August.  JJB Sports have utilized Champion as the technical brand for the FAW.

The Champion brand is a New and Exclusive brand to JJB Sports. The New kit will be worn for the first time against Georgia on 20th August. 

Crewe Alexandra launched the new 08/09 home strip. Italian manufactures Lotto will the club's official kit supplier for the forthcoming season. They will provide the new home and away kits, training gear and leisure wear.

The new home kit was worn for the first time in the friendly with Hull City. New signing Joel Grant has modelled the new home kit and said:

"I think the new kit is very nice. The material and the quality of the shirt is good and it is very fitted which Lotto strips always tend to be.

"I think it is really nice and I like it. I hope I will get the chance to wear it on Saturday against Hull City for the first time."

The home kit was revealed a month ago, now, Chesterfield's new 08/09 away kit has also been revealed for the first time and replica shirts are due to go on sale this weekend.

As a taster the away kit will be worn for the first time by the first team squad in the away pre-season friendly at Burton Albion this weekend.
 
The Spireites new kit is being provided by the club's new kit supplier, the well established Bukta brand.
 
The Club appointed Bukta as the new kit supplier following supply problems and complaints from supporters about quality issues with the previous supplier.

The Spireites new away kit for season 2008-09 will be officially launched this weekend at the annual Open Day, which will be held at Saltergate this Sunday 3 August 2008 from 10.00am to 2.00pm.

Chelsea officially unveiled the 3rd football kit made by Adidas for the 08/09 season. The shirt is yellow with a blue trim, which are Chelsea's traditional away colours. The 08/09 away kit is black while the 08-09 home kit is traditional blue.

These are the Suriname World Cup 2010 qualification home, away and goalkeeper kits made by the Dutch brand COPA. The Suriname Football Association (SVB) and COPA have signed a 4 year contract in which COPA will be the official kit supplier for the Suriname national football teams.

Although the former Dutch colony (named Dutch Guyana, until 1975) is located in South America, it competes in CONCACAF, together with Guyana and French Guiana.

Many Suriname-born players and Dutch-born players of Surinamese descent, like Ruud Gullit, Frank Rijkaard, Edgar Davids, Clarence Seedorf, Aron Winter, Romeo Castelen, and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink turned out to play for Holland.

Hereford United unveiled the new 08/09 replica home kit made by Nike. Hereford originally played in an all-white strip, but their traditional colours are white shirts and black shorts.

This dates back to the end of the Second World War when they used material from blackout curtains to make shorts when they ran out of white material. However they have occasionally reverted to an all-white strip, most recently in the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons.

Hereford's shirt sponsors have been Sun Valley Poultry (now Cargill) since 1991, the biggest employer in Hereford. The Sun Valley logo remains on the shirt presently despite the change of company name. A new three year sponsorship deal was agreed in May 2007 which will extend the sponsorship to 19 years, one of the longest in British football history.

Hereford's shirt & kit wear suppliers are M and M Direct, another large employer in Herefordshire who have supported the club for many years.

These are the new FC Twente 08/09 home, away and 3rd football kits made by Diadora who signed a 4 year deal with the Dutch club which is managed by the former England boss Steve McClaren.

The new shirts are co-designed by the FC Twente supporters who included their new stadion “Grolsch Veste” as a watermark on the shirt, making it a true collectors item.

This is the new France home shirt for the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification made by Adidas.

France will wear the new shirt in qualifying group 7 for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The group is comprised of France, Romania, Serbia, Lithuania, Austria and Faroe Islands.

France and Faroe Islands were also drawn together in the previous FIFA World Cup qualifying round, while these two along with Lithuania were drawn together in the 2008 European Championship qualifying round. France met Romania in the Euro 2008 group stage, where the two played to a draw.
