There are many leaked pictures of the Arsenal home 08/09 Nike kit but these pictures of the 2008-2009 home and Goalkeeper kits seem to confirm them all..

Nothing special. Arsenal is brand and should have nicer shirt.
poo poo poo!
Take a close look, that\'s the closest the opposition will get to it as they fly past.
and i dont see how you can complain.
how much more can youdo when it has to have white sleeves and red body.
thumbs up on this one
just cant wait to see what the away kit looks like
I\'m amazed at the comments on here supporting this cookie cutter, same as everyone else design. It\'s a slap in the face for those who want some tradition kept at their club as they evolve into corporate behemoths more interested in a tour of China than their own fans.
What if Sporting Lisbon or Celiic decided to go for stripes or River Plate wanted hoops and a top hat? If a designer can\'t do something with red and white sleeves you have the wrong designer. This is a disgrace.
horrible
its a remake
im a spurs fan and even i think its censoredy
Makes us look like Charlton or Walsall.
Not impressed.

A previous post mentioned it makes us look like
Charlton or Walsall... and he\'s absolutely right.
Here endeth today\'s lesson in shirt design.
If I was an Arsenal fan I\'d be asking questions as to why the board agreed to this design because it\'s completely breaking tradition and not buy the kit. At least the one-off redcurrant shirt had historical grounding to it, but this just isn\'t, and besides, as someone else correctly pointed out, it\'s very much the same style as Nigeria\'s kit from 1998.
To many people, any red shirt with white sleeves, regardless of the team wearing it, is typically regarded as \"the Arsenal style\".... well thanks to Nike and this horror show, it no longer is the case!\"
I\'m not buying it, I suggest all other gooners follow suit.
veto it is beyond me, too busy banging on about banging on about \'tradition\' and
bollocks like \'english ownership\' to realise an american company is already
raping our most obvious traditions i guess.\"
Took awhile for the Anti-american geocentric xenophobia to come out. I seem to remember Nike doing pretty well for you when Merson, Wright, en co. were kicking it about. You were probably to tanked to recall those shirts. They trade pretty well an eBay about now.
Besides, having worked in professional sports, manufacturers have entire departments devoted to design. They \"present\" multiple designs to a client, based upon the clients recommendations and ideas. As well, the client doesn\'t veto anything. They select one of the many that are put forth.
I trust, however, given the lack of sophistication throughout this entire site, that relevant information means little.
Nice choice of words, too...\"rape\"? C\'mon
Notting to moan about otherwise IMO unlike all you moans
So there now
Anyway, goodtimes.
Chapman worked hard to get a kit to his specifications. He added white sleeves to the original all red shirt so players are easier to see. He also added hoops to the socks for the same reason.
It looks like a re-hashed dreamcast shirt.
As for the people saying its simple it quite obviously is not, a perfect example of a simple Arsenal shirt is the current shirt minus the Gold stripe, ie Red shirt, White sleeves...
The only saving grace for Nike will be the away kit, which by all accounts and from the picture doing the rounds, looks really nice and a definite 1989 ringer. That\'s the kind of omen we want, you mentalist marketting people!!
Reminds me of the 99/00 dreamcast kit.
It\'s not the first time the sleeves have not been 100% white e.g the 94-96 shirt and the 04/05 shirt.
but then again Nike unfortunately don
but then again Nike unfortunately don\'t make better kit than Addidas!!!
Dreamcast kit all over again, but at least the stripes back then were blue/navy.
The redcurrent trim on this looks like black @ 1st glance.
Like someone already said, Nike are getting obsessed with redcurrent. It was a good idea for that 1 season, but it\'s done with, get over it already.
Looking forward to the away strip though, it looks class.
P.S. Ryan M Liddell,
you really are quite the censored aren\'t you? Mummy buy you a thesaurus for christmas?
There\'s nothing new about it, there\'s nothing stylish, it\'s censoreding embarrassing.
Chelsea, Liverpool, United even censoreding Fulham always have better kits than us. I mean, I know the kit isn\'t the most important thing about a team, but we\'ve had some shockers, and for a club of our size to have no sense of design is pathetic.
It looks like our kits were chosen by someone\'s mum who happens to work behind the counter in the shop at the Emirates, who gets to choose as a favour to her because her son\'s disabled.
Give us something decent.
Looks similar to this, but I think if Nike was going to make a jersey this lazily they should\'ve gone back to the old collar look, not this v-neck, white highlight look. Arsenal and white sleeves go too well together to have this be an actual kit.
this looks good tho. no doubt it is Arsenal that is good. Reminds me of the Dreamcast one with the dark defining stripes on the sides.
My problem with it is that Arsenal are supposed to have white sleeves, not red sleeves with a white stripe going down them.
Arsenal do usually get nice kits though. I think I\'m right in saying Arsenal were the first English club to have a Nike kit, back when Nike was first getting into the \"soccer\" market around 1995.
never the less good kit
I will truly miss this year\'s home kit.
in my opinion that was on of the nicest kits we have ever had
and how can people say it is too plain
wtf else do u want on a shirt?
they luk gd!!
i like craig!!
im lost
The new arsenal shirt is just like the nigeria template from 10 years ago!
Poor effort Nike, get original.
Not sure about this kit anyway, think I\'ll be sticking with last seasons (which also happened to be the seasons\' before) which is a good looking kit that suits Arsenals traditions.
not sure bout sleeves but spose time for change\"
prefer a simple one like the new cottager\'s kit, but not bad!
And the goalkeeper kit looks like my fovourite pijama.. ok..I like it, but just to stay in bed..i wouldn\'t wear it to play on football pitch..
Arsenal will regret this uniform,exactly!
\"You don\'t buy a kit for it\'s looks, you buy it as you support the club\"
Really, would you\'d buy a pair of trousers you didn\'t like just cos you have an affinity to the manafacurer?
Of course you wouldn\'t you half head!
Still not sure.. I might get it though..

We\'re not nottingham forest or salford scummers ... *shudders
like the away kit
Where\'s a pic of the away kit?
Than, it all began to look like everyone\'s wearing pajamas. Almunia looks like the \"Master of the House\" and the others are his \"servants.\" Someone get the Master his pipe and slippers...
wouldn\'t river look better in a chicken costume and a top hat???
their players need to wear monocles as well.
