Atlético Mineiro 08 Centenary Lotto shirts launched

Clube Atlético Mineiro was founded on March 25, 1908 by 22 middle-class boys from Belo Horizonte. To celebrate their centenary Atlético Mineiro launched their new 08/09 Centenary football shirts made by lotto.

Clube Atlético Mineiro was founded on March 25, 1908 by 22 middle-class boys from Belo Horizonte. To celebrate their centenary year Atlético Mineiro launched their new home and away 08/09 Centenary football shirts made by lotto. The launch took place on the evening of Tuesday, at a large event in the Club Labareda.

In his speech, the president Ziza Valadares said " Fiat, the Lotto and FPT are investing in Atlético because recognise the strength and fanaticism of our fans, the most passionate of Brazil. I Hope that this new shirt brings us luck."

The concept of the new collection was developed by designers Pina and Sthefan Ko, together with the Lotto and Athletic

In Brazil, clubs don\'t use player\'s name on the back, that\'s a space for sponsor. Some clubs put the name below the sponsor logo below the number, but most teams don\'t do anyway!

Yep, that\'s obvious, but looks a little strange ... and busy with the centenary logo just above it as well.

perfectly agreed that the FIAT there looks a little bit like a player name, the formatting should at least be a little more distinct...but, anyway...i just think that the traditionally black and white shirt turned mainly red...

and Ikhsan sayd that in Brazil, clubs don't use player's name on back, but all the clubs use
