Barcelona 08/09 Away nike football shirt
Barcelona unveiled their new away Nike shirt for the 2008-09 season. You'll find the new Barcelona home 08/09 shirt here.
While the home shirt mirrors the 1999 jersey, the away top pays homage to the team of 1974. Next season's away colours for the team will be a bright yellow with a blaugrana stripe down the side that the crest of the club is on.
In order to try and avoid forgeries and fakes finding their way into unsuspecting customers' hands this year, Nike have introduced a label in the lower left side of the garment that is a technological innovation that can tell whether the shirt is genuine or not. Club president Joan Laporta was present for the presentation of all the new kits along with some directors, and Nike executive Albert Baronet.

Barcelona/Nike could do better/ must try harder.
I was always under impressions that World Cups and European championships brought out the imaginative in the big kit companies(puma-cameroon,
adidas with most teams at some point,Nike 1998,2002,2004, Umbro 1990,1998,2002 with England & Swedon.) This time there seems to be a collective lack of imagination, come on Cal get to work freelance and get those designs going!

I swear their must be different teams over at Nike for the EPL and La Liga clubs. The EPL was sub-par this season but between this kit (the home could use some work) and the Valencia kitsm I think they\'re doing top work for the Spanish. Love it! Shame I can\'t stand Barca though.

Barca\'s last few away kits haven\'t been very nice but I really like this one.

Yes, it is made in Indonesia with me as the designer. I\'ve been working for Nike Indonesia since 1 years ago, and I\'ve designed some nice shirts, for examples MU black away shirt last season n Celtic, Valencia home shirts this season. I also design Juve n Inter shirts for this season, but I\'m not allowed to show them to you just yet. I guess the leak will come out soon though
