The new Barnet 08/09 Vandanel home and away kits to be worn during the 2008/2009 season were unveiled at the successful Community Open Day at Barnet Cricket Club.

Pictured is Danny Hart modelling the new kits, which went down well with fans who attended the event. The kit will be on sale from next Saturday (July19) when the Bees meet Arsenal at Underhill in the sold-out traditional pre-season friendly.

barnet had a black home shirt with pinstripes a couple of years back so have used black before .

Black for an away kit is fine, but for a home kit is a big no no. Barnet\'s traditional orange and black colours gives them the opportunity of a good kit, but they\'ve had some shockers over the years.

And that\'s that away strip all about? Very strange.

Which idiot designed an away kit that can never be worn? It clashes with every team that the home kit clashes with. Other than the Milan teams. The only League 2 teams that have black in their shirt also have white...
