These are the new Girondins de Bordeaux Home, Away and 3rd football kits made by puma for the 2008-09 season. An all-round sports club was created as Girondins de Bordeaux on February 1, 1882 or October 1, 1881, depending on sources. It was not until 1910, when put under pressure by Raymond Brard that football became the over-riding sport. The first official Premier match took place in 1919.

Their biggest European triumph was reaching the UEFA Cup final in 1996. After qualifying for the Intertoto Cup, the Girondins won that competition to get a place in the UEFA Cup. They reached the final after victories over Vardar Skopje, Rotor Volgograd, Real Betis, a heroic quarter final win over AC Milan, and a semi-final win over Slavia Prague. In the UEFA Cup final, Bayern Munich prevented the Bordelais winning their first European Cup after a 5-1 defeat on aggregate.

That 3rd kit is legendary!!!!

However the home kit looks like there were too many Puma badges lying around at the factory so the just randomly stuck some extra ones on.

Home is ok, away is pretty decent but that third shirt, what the hell? And its pointless too given the home shirt is navy.

Bordeaux had great kits around the late 80\'s early 90\'s... I think a company called \'Line 7\' made them. They had long shorts before the 90\'s craze when Spurs had theirs

Finally a unique design by a big manufacturer! The third kit is undoubtedly a special design made just for Bordeaux.

Gourcuff doesn\'t look happy at all. Hope he\'ll return to Milan next year (or in January)

Awesome effort puma!

The close-ups make the shirt look comfortable to wear.

Ace! B)

the 3rd one is a genuine diaster.

at least they would have used the actual bordeaux (burgundy) color.

The home kit is good, still looks like a Girondins home strip.

The away strip is way too boring I find, and the 3rd kit - nice design but what is with the pink??!!!
