Danish league club Brondby presented the 08/09 home football shirt made by Adidas with the new Unicef sponsorship deal. Brondby IF announced a five-year agreement with the local Kasi Group that makes jewelry back in october 2007.

Instead of wearing the Kasi Group logo, players wear the logo of the United Nations children's agency UNICEF on their jerseys and Brondby will channel 10 million kroner (1.89 million dollars) to UNICEF from the Kasi Group sponsorship deal.

Reminds me of Sweden\'s kits back in the day. Looks great. I believe that they could\'ve matched the Unicef logo\'s color better with the stripes though.

Hey Seb, yeah - the mismatch of the two blue colors has also been widely debated between the brondby supporters. The clubs CCO, Ole Palmaa, points out that this has been done on purpose after a long period of consideration, as he believes the UNICEF logo kept in its original blue would be best. Some supporters don\'t care, others are quite upset.
The club will however present a new shirt shorty, with colors reversed with blue as the dominant - and obviously the UNICEF logo will have to be yellow on that one.

What I found nice is that more Football Associations & Clubs are following the steps of FC Barcelona and involving in suporting UNICEF and all the children of the plante. I think that is enough to have that shirt.
