Blue or Claret or Red? Cambridge United Football Club and Vandanel Retail Ltd would like to offer Cambridge United supporters the opportunity to be part of the process of selecting a new away strip by voting exclusively on cambridgeunited.com.

Bob Jones from Vandanel Retail Ltd explained why there will be a new away kit for next season: "We work in partnership with several clubs by running their club shops, and at all the other clubs the home and away strip are changed in alternate years.

"I understand that this used to be the case at Cambridge United but it somehow got out of synch several years ago. By moving it back to alternate years it helps with the design and production as well as the cashflow, both for the club and for the supporters who like to buy both the home and away shirt."

Bob continued, "We know that many supporters have purchased the current away white shirt and so we will be retaining this as the third strip, which, judging by this season, we will be required to use whenever there is a colour clash."

They\'re all awful, the traditional Cambridge away colours are White. There\'s no reason they couldn\'t have made a new white shirt, or at very least a red shirt that wasn\'t awful.
