Celtic 2008/2009 Away Nike football kit
Celtic unveiled their new away kit made by Nike for the 08-09 season. The new kit has a yellow shirt, green shorts and yellow socks. Celtic will also be selling non-sponsored 2008-09 shirts.

At least when Celtic go to Hibs next season there won\'t be a colour clash problem, like last season where they had a choice of three green kits.

Celtic have a distinctive strip and this does stand out but it is mingin
they had a nice black away strip, bring that back, even the dark green was not bad. I wouldn\'t wipe my arse with this.

Yellow is a great change.
If they stayed in Green you\'d all be saying it looks just like the last One, if they had gone to Black you\'d all say it\'s boring & if they don\'t do simple & slick, you\'d say it\'s not Celtic! - Make your minds up!!!!
I think it\'s a great kit. Subtle, elegant & a positive new direction. Another SPL winning kit!
As Celtic kits go it is ok-nothing spectacular.But sure not bad. Again though the Casrling logo sticks out like a sore thumb. plus the lager itself is grosse.

Theres not much room for change on green and white hoops (why would you want to!) plus 2001 there was certain fans boycotting the kit when a white panel on each side \"broke the hoops\" and caused a drama
All our away shirts have been solid colours apart from the pointless white \'european kit\'.
Overall is below adverage and i think we should take our designs from past kits like our current home kit.
Which is the best shirt so far.
if anyone adidas have the best designs but nike kits are the best for fitment and lightness

As for Celtic, there is always the rumor that Puma is in for them at the next contract. Nike will either have to pony up more cash or loose Celtic. Puma might actually be more agreeable to Hoops in black and yellow for an away kit. Now if Celtic can just get Guiness as the shirt sponsor. Rangers can keep Carling.
Got to agree that this years Umbro kits kind of went overboard with the design. Too many diamonds on the shirts
