Actually prefer this to the black away, black kits are extremely dull now, well the idea is anyway.

Both arn\'t great though.

Looks just like the Romania shirt from Euro 2008. Apart from the badge, and sponsor, and a bit of red.....apart from that though! It\'s kinda plain looking.

Don\'t like any of Chelsea\'s shirts this year. I think overall, most kits this year have been really below par. Adidas haven\'t done so well - Liverpool, AC Milan, Chelsea, etc, all bad kits.

I like how TWR said that it looks like the Romania home kit and then listed that what was different between the two kits which was manly most of it.

I could say it looks like the Sweden kit apart form the badge, the logo and it has a sponsor.

Its yellow and made by Adidas well done!

I quite like it though.
It is a simple design but there\'s nothing wrong with that, most kits are these days.

I just wish people will get over that the manufacturers use a template because its easier to produce high numbers of kits for god knows how many teams.
So there bound to use the same template.
Get over it!

The kit (not bad) but the colour, oh god! Lucky I don\'t support these   Can\'t they keep last season\' third kit

cant they play like in last season\'s white(3rd kit)? or at most down grade the electric yellow. so they are like Liverpool, changing all 3 together and last season keeping the home and changing both aways.

I\'m a huge Chelsea supporter, and to be honest, when we signed with Adidas four years ago, I was excited. In that time it seems as though Adidas designers have become 70 year old women who are against clubs having a unique design, while Umbro, our previous sponsor, seems to have found it\'s design success. I want Umbro back. And god I hate yellow kits.

grade: FAIL!

Agreed, Sam- I have also found myself longing for the Umbro days. I have yet to be convinced that the switch to adidas has been a good move on Chelsea\'s part. None of adidas\' designs have impressed me, especially not after our 2005 Umbro strip which I thought was our best in years.

Why would fans shell out for 3 kits?? Especially when the only variation between all 3 is the colour of the shirt, and the fact that one of them has a flimsy collar. Adidas need to get their finger out their arses and show a bit of creativity! Thats just lazy!

Hehe, yeah, see as I was writing I realised a few differences. BUT, it is still VERY similar to it.

Here\'s the Romania shirt: www.footballshirtculture.com/200802161128/08/09-kits/new-romania-08/09-adidas-home-shirt.html

I admit the styles not EXACTLY the same. But that\'s what it made me think of, and to me that\'s not really making advances in kit design and styles.

In my opinion, the best Adidas kits were the 2006/7 AC Milan, 2007/8 Liverpool, etc era ones. I just don\'t think this years have been an advancement or even a continuation in previous quality shirts.

Suddenly...Arsenal\'s crappy away shirt doesn\'t look so bad! What the hell are Chelsea thinking? This banana shirt is a complete EMBARRASSMENT!

The only team that should ever wear a Yellow shirt is Brazil National. That\'s it. Nobody else should wear that putrid color.

The Chelski Black kit looks very badass and I will give the players 1 or 2 matches in the banana shirt before they vote never to wear it again. We\'ll be seeing Chelski in the Black kit a lot on the road....

These colours dont suit chelse at all

Peter Kenyon ditched Umbro in favour of Adidas because he got a better deal and thought they could sell more Adidas shirts than Umbro Shirts to \"Chelsea\'s \"world wide fan base\"

Don\'t think you\'ll sell many of these Peter!

hey you,

i disagree - the yellow Arsenal jersey this season is well wicked and one of the best in years (remember 1989?) and im not alone in thinking that on the web esp.. i hope you wont be saying the white one last year was nice.

You can\'t be serious about the Arsenal away shirt this year. It\'s horrible. I don\'t know anyone that likes either Arsenal kits this year, though people seem to be slowly warming to the Home.

Yellow is a putrid, sissy color for sports teams. It bears no significance to me that the team has had success in yellow kits. It\'s not even \"Arsenal\'s\" color, everyone has used Yellow before, back in the day.

The white shirt would\'ve been okay if they incorporated redcurrant into the shirt a little more. It was too white. Too spurish. HOWEVER--the white with red stripe training shirt that Arsenal have this season (which looks like the U.S. home jersey, sort of), would be a fine away shirt. Much better than that mess of shirt--Corn yellow, Blue, Red...who the f&ck designed that garbage???

Atleast Chelski wasn\'t dumb enough to incorporate a menage of colors...they went with banana yellow. It\'s ugly for them and I don\'t think their players will agree to play critical matches in it this season. They will be wearing their sharper Blue and Black kits a lot more....

 We all know Chelsea\'s intentions are to make the opposition confused and dizzy. That was their secret with the electric yellow last season. Same goes to this yellow and the orange keeper shirt. They really know how to make the opposition and referees see the stars after 90 minutes. Its no joke mate, this club is evil! they will do anything to rule the world of football...possibly even destroying the game. So, its not about ugly or anything. Its about strategy.
