Coventry City revealed their 125th anniversary home shirt for the 2008/09 season made by Puma. The kit was unveiled today by Sky Blues Chairman Ray Ranson and Vice Chairman Gary Hoffman along with Patric and James Cassidy at the Headquarters of Official Club Sponsors Cassidy Group.

The new home kit, once again supplied by global sportswear manufacturers Puma, will go on sale at the official kit launch at the Ricoh Arena on July 12. The shirt incorporates a classic sky blue and white striped design and also features the Club's brand new crest, which will be used throughout the 2008/2009 season to commemorate Coventry City's 125th anniversary.

Thanks to Stuart

fair play that looks nice, the only thing I would change is putting the sponsors name in a box or fill in the stripes, other than that spot on.

ok but think badge is small would have liked a more modern kit rather than 80\'s style

Didnt like it so much at first - whats with the box for the sponsor strip cutting right across and why did they make the piping surrounding the badge so tight to the badge design?!?

Anyways it definitely grows on you. I think the retro look is good for the 125th, as long as they have a modern kit next year. I guess this kit is one of the last surviving decisions of the old regime before Ray Ranson took over...

I like it-bodes well for the Reading kits.
Better than Spurs kits and also better than Euro Pumas kits.
Are they hinmting at an interest in Tevez or Messi?

The only people not happy will be Spurs if they get drawn in the FA Cup! Of course, Coventry cause always meet Sutton again

I think it is an excellent kit, although I agree with hellyes4cress\' comments about the sponsors

Nice one, Puma!

A good design, always good to see them in stripes, especially as they were the last team to win the FA Cup wearing striped shirts.

I hate collar less shirts. Its been 10 years since we had a proper collar but the fashions for collars seem to shift every decade so i\'m hoping we get one next season.
