Liverpool, in partnership with DHL Express UK, will ensure that fans have access to the new Liverpool FC European kit.

Thousands of Liverpool FC supporters have pre-ordered the shirt and the five times European Champions entrusted DHL with the task of ensuring over 10,000 new kits arrive in time for the start of the season.

The release of the new European shirt has been anticipated for several weeks and DHL has ensured the kit has remained under tight security and was delivered on time to various locations throughout Liverpool. Over the past couple of month’s DHL has delivered over 16,000 Home and Away shirts for Liverpool Football Club.

Ken McCall, CEO of DHL Express UK and Ireland said: “This was a big operation for DHL Express UK and we are proud to be given the opportunity from LFC. We took pride in ensuring all of the new kits were delivered promptly and securely so that the passionate Liverpool FC fans can wear their club’s kit.”

Frank Higgins, Distribution Manager at Liverpool Football Club said: “DHL was an integral part of the team and worked tirelessly to help us achieve our dispatch targets, this was one of our most successful kit launches ever and DHL contributed enormously to this.”

The new kit will be worn in this season’s Champions League, where Liverpool will be hoping to add to their five previous successes.

DHL\'s advertising company would appear to have no clue how to draw the shape of a football.

Yeah, both the logo and the commercial are pretty bad.
