Glentoran's new Umbro away strip has been unveiled on the Glentoran website and through Northern Ireland's leading newspapers. Building up to a midnight launch at The Oval on Thursday 12th June.

The new strip will first be worn by the team through pre-season, with the first major home date in the calendar being the home game against Hearts on 14th July, when the teams compete for the Umbro Trophy.

The launch at The Oval will be a fabulous occasion, attended by star players and manager Alan McDonald, and will be the first of it's kind at The Oval.

On the night, there will be 3-a-side football, a fashion show, hot food, a cavalcade of music, and of course, an opportunity to meet and greet the players and Alan McDonald, who will be interviewed on the night. The Club's official new tracksuit, amongst other new official 08/09 training and leisurewear, will be on sale from Friday 13th June.

Following the kit launch, the club shop will hopefully move to Connswater shopping centre from lunch time on Friday 13th June, where the kit will continue to be sold. As the days progress towards the end of June, more of the official training and leisurewear collection will continue to be unveiled at Connswater.

Look out for the Connswater opening times, which will be revealed through Glentoran.com an local and national media. Please remember to continue to support the Glentoran club shop, where all proceeds are automatically ploughed back into the club.

New shirt sponsors Fonacab will be running a free shuttle service from The Oval for fans within a 3 mile radius on the night of the launch.

The club will hold a press conference on Monday 9th June at The Oval, attended by manager Alan McDonald, new Chairman Aubry Ralph, Gary Hamilton and Jason Hill, where the club will formally announce the new sponsorship deal.

Monaghan United mate! From Ireland, just like your club is from IRELAND! I\'m sure you\'d like to hear that one.

Aye mate, I\'ll tell you who we are. We have a deal with a international brand called NIKE. You can have your cheap Umbro any day. That\'s who we are mate.

MON THE MAGIC MONS!
