Grimsby Town have launched the new 2008/ 09 home and away kits. The new kits by Italian sportswear company Errea were unveiled at a special viewing at Blundell Park.

Errea, who supply teams in the top leagues around Europe, will also be supplying all Town's training gear too. Over 400 of the brand new Errea home and away shirts were snapped up at a special preview sale in McMenemy's. Fans queued from 2.30pm and by the start of the sale at 4pm the line was already 100-deep. Club officials organised a system whereby supporters snaked their way around McMenemy's, down the stairs and across the Blundell Park car park.

At one point there were over 250 fans eagerly waiting to be served for the new kit, and some of those supporters queued patiently for nearly an hour to be served by a dedicated team of Grimsby Town staff. There was also a chance to get a closer look at the full range of Errea/Grimsby Town training and leisurewear for the 2008/09 season.

That blonde should turn about so I can get a better look at her. But I do not understand why Grimsby dropped Nike for shite Errea. It makes no sense.

i fully understand why grimsby changed from nike to errea. lets face it, nike make one kit and use it for many teams. grimsbys kit from last season is just the inter milan kit with black and white instead of black and blue. at least these kits have been produced just from grimsby and don\'t use the same template for all the other clubs. also, errea is one of the best sports wear manufactures around with regards to quality, better than nike!

If errea would quit with the asymmetrical designs and change the logo it would be all better.

maybe they quit nike coz they got fed up with rochdale taking the same design as them .. the red should have been fish finger orange colour .

Yet another kit butchered by the anti-stripes on the back nonsense.

This is a really smart variation on the traditional stripes. It is good to have something distictive and not just the same old nike standard template stuff.

Good bits:
The adding of red trim to shirt
The new club badge without the border
the fact its individual and not the same as rochdale!

Bad bits:
The all white back, get the strips on it!
The tacky mariners text as the bottom of the back, make details like that bit more suttle

Love it, the back would be better in black though.
