Hartlepool United have launched their new home Centenary Kit for the upcoming 08/09 campaign. The white shirt with blue edging and blue shorts, once again produced by Nike, are commemorative of the kit Pools wore in that first season one hundred years ago.
"We have tried to base it on the original Hartlepool kit from 1908 - incorporating that colour while also trying to keep it as a fashionable kit, " Chief Executive Russ Green explained.
"The fabric is again top quality and we have also worked to revamp the badge to commemorate this special time for the Club.
"And we're hoping the supporters like it as much as the players do - it's proved a big hit at the training ground."
As well as the revamped badge, Pools have changed the colour of the numbers on the back of the shirts to royal blue, with a gold edging to add that extra touch for the Centenary season.
Pools are offering fans the chance to pre-order their kit right now through the Club Shop to make sure you are one of the first to be wearing this unique commemorative kit

Kits are made as cheaply as possible so reusing the templates is going to happen .
Hartlepool and fellow lower league teams have had the basic nike designs over the last few years.
Nike must pay well and are able to supply replica shirts for sale so smaller teams will stick with them
however fit for the monkey hangers
\"A Century United\" on their shirts.
What copycats.
