HSV 08/09 Away and Euro Adidas football kits

HSV together with their kit manufacturer Adidas, presented the 2008/09 Euro away kit.

The black and blue away kit was unveiled a few weeks ago on a boat at Hamburg harbour. New head coach Martin Jol and the players Ivica Olic and Jerome Boateng gave away 30 of the new shirts to passengers aboard the ship.

You can really see how awkward the 3 stripes look on the sleeves in these photos. They just stop randomly. Here\'s an idea Adidas, leave them off the jersey, or just connect them to the end of the sleeve and do something else?

The 3 stripes look much better on shorts than they do on shirts anyway...

absolutely sweet.

The red socks are unreal. I\'m buying them today and will wear them to work suited and booted on monday.

the away shirt is probably top five i\'ve seen all year. the red home is very nice as well.

The away shirt is really awesome but not too keen on the home one.The 3/4 stripes is an eyesore .

Yep, Adidas at their best for the red away kit. Indeed a great looking colour combo for the collar, shirt and shorts and an all round sleek design and overall look. On a par with the new blue Ajax shirts and proof that sometimes simplicity really is the best policy for classy looking footy kits.
