Burnley Football Club are proud to unveil the new home shirt to be worn for the 2008/09 season.

Burnley FC unveiled their new home shirt for the 08/09 season. Their club sponsor Holland's Pies will have their name emblazoned across the front and back of the new shirt, which is again manufactured by Italian sportswear manufacturer Errea.

The new shirt, which sees the return of the multi-coloured club crest, carries over the popular retro V-neck design from last season. In a return to tradition, the shirt will have light blue sleeves with white trim. The right hand side of the shirt also features a wide blue panel that is carried through to the predominantly white shorts.White socks with claret trim will complete the new kit, which again utilises revolutionary 'Active Dry' technology, which is at the cutting-edge of research in technical fabrics, incorporating a fabric that draws moisture away from the body as a step towards improved sporting performance.

Retailing at GBP 31.99 for all junior sizes and GBP 39.99 for adults and ladies, the shirt, will be on sale from 9am in the Clarets Store on Saturday. Burnley FC unveiled their new home shirt for the 08/09 season.

Burnley FC retail supervisor Paul Stanworth said: " I hope the supporters like the traditional features of the new shirt, particularly the return of the blue sleeves. This is the earliest we have ever had the new shirts in stock and I am sure the shirt will be a good seller.

Kevin McCabe, Holland's Pies General Manager, added: "We are delighted with the new shirt and we at Holland's are immensely proud to be shirt sponsors for our second consecutive season and look forward to our continued partnership for the forthcoming season."

Errea export manager Fabrizio Taddei said: " Errea Sport are delighted to have hit an early launch with the shirt. We really hope the Burnley supporters will like the new design which was developed from a close relationship between ourselves and the club."

Please note, there are currently only short-sleeved shirts available, with long sleeved due in stock within the next few weeks.

A bit closer to the traditional kit. Shame the coat of arms style badge has been retained. Since it\'s introduction in the 1970\'s, the Clarets have struggled.
