Cruzeiro officially launched their new kit collection developed by PUMA for the season 2008/2009. The new home, away and 3rd shirts where presented in the lounge of the Portinari Tennis Yacht Club, in Belo Horizonte.

Sponsors of the Club since 2006, Puma's 2008 version has a unique technology called USP (Ultimate Sport Perfomance) to help the performance of the players. The material is made of a fiber designed and developed to emphasize the comfort, control the body temperature and resist bacteria.

The new kits have the same design and technology used in European football in the 2008/2009 season. Among the Brazilian clubs sponsored by PUMA, Cruzeiro is the first to present the new model this year.

They also presented the 3rd kit, to be used in the Copa Libertadores, which has a tone "blue-oil" with the shield round in the center of the chest.

But the new collection was not restricted only to the three versions. The training gear now will be green with blue details and was shown this evening by goalkeeper Andrey.

Another novelty was a special version for the shirt of goalkeeper Fábio for the Copa Libertadores. At the request of the Goalkeeper, the Club and PUMA produced a white uniform with details in green.
