Crystal Palace home and away kit 08/09 by errea

Earlier this season Crystal Palace were delighted to give their supporters an opportunity to vote for the clubs new home and away strips for 2008/2009 and today we can bring you the result thanks to Andy Burton, creator of kitclassics.co.uk

Details of when the new designs will be available for pre-order will be made available on the clubs official website towards the end of the season.

great kits, nice to see palace return to the blue and red sash home shirt even though the collar and sponsor logo have changed since the vote, started with a v-neck if I remember rightly.

i reckon both are great options for away kit, but home kit should be red and blue stripes.
It won\'t make sense now singing red\'n\'blue army! Should be why army with a sash

as long as we get premiership numbers and lettering on the back of that kit, I\'ll be happy.

agree with Anonymous, i didnt vote coz i didnt like the options.

Love the sash but should be an away kit, but it 10x better than the current home kit, i like the diadora kit from a few years back, the last 1 of the churchill sponsor

Where are the stripes for the home shirt? they look like Bologna away shirt without the stripes. Poor choice

Jono, agree with you (i was that anonymous), diadora kits were much beter, I have last 3 diadora kits but non of those ereas. At least Gac upgraded thier logo so the logo on the shirt looks better. I wish Palace would modernize thier logo, it\'s a bit outdated.

The home shirt with the red and blue sash is a remake of one of the greatest club kits ever made (I\'m not a Crystal Palace supporter!).

I think the away kit should be a red and blue striped shirt, with red shorts and socks.

Tricky one for Palace fans. Their traditional home colours have never been straightforward. I suppose that it depends on what age you are and what era you started watching Palace.

I think I\'m right in saying that Palace wore a white shirt with a red & blue sash from 75-83 and then again from 84-87. It\'s also cropped up as an away kit a couple of times, infamously at Anfield in 1989...

What the censored is the home kit all about keep it as it is and stop changing the kit. Plus I think you will find everyone voted for the other home kit.

the home kits fantastic, that was the kit from 79 when I first started watching football, Palace had a great young team on the rise. So its an apt kit

Anyone who thinks that the white shirt with the famous sash shouldn\'t be the home kit for next season is a TWAT! End of subject!

Great to see us go back to the diagonal stripes that we used so much in the 70;s and 80\'s

This kit is the kit we\'ll be wearing when we go up next season - EAAAAAAGGGGGGGLLLLLLLES

the kits are ok but what the hell happened to the red and blue strips were the red and blue EAGLES and we should have a red and blue stripe kit. And Dan no need to sware they are nice kits.

I like the stripes, but the sash is unique unless you count River Plate or Peru. And those sashes aren\'t quite the same. Reminds me of when I first started going to Selhurst to cheer on the Team of the 80s.
