New Greece Euro 2008 Adidas home shirt
Hellenic Football Federation launched their new home kit for the 08/09 season and Euro 2008. We have showed you some pictures of the 08/09 home and away shirts a few weeks ago, but now it's official.
The Greek national team jersey shows an inscription of the Greek national team anthem on the seams of the jersey.
The new kit will accompany the Greek internationals for many years to come as it will not only take them through the Euro 2008 finals stage, but the 2010 World Cup qualifiers, and all the way to the Euro 2012 qualifying round!
Greece's home kit since the Hellenic Football Federation was first established was blue, but after Greece's triumph at Euro 2004 they changed their home kit from blue to white. The team wears either a set of white jerseys, shorts and socks or a set of blue jerseys, shorts and socks.
A combination of a blue jersey and white shorts has also been used in some matches. The official shirtsupplier is Adidas which has signed a long-term agreement with the Greek Federation until 2012.
