new Holland home kit for Euro 2008 made by Nike

This is the new Holland Home 08/09 and Euro 2008 shirt made by nike. The colour of the shirt is "brighter" then the last retro version. The KNVB logo has changed a bit and now has a white background. The shorts are white with a red, white and blue stripe.

The socks are in the colour "nassau blue" a colour of the royal Dutch family. Most remarkable is the red, white and blue flag which has moved from the chest of the 2006 away shirt to the left side of collar on this 2008 version.

Thomas Walker, Senior Football product designer who is responsible for the latest design said: "The last shirts where a reminder of the fabolous shirts from the past, with the new shirts we want to show the future of Dutch football."

The shirts will be worn for the first time on 24-03-2008 in the friendly match in and against Austria.

Saw the shirt for the first time this afternoon in Veronica Magazine.

Nothing really spectacular, although the complete kit looks nice. The shirt is in style with the away shirt. The KNVB patch is the same as on the away shirt, although the blue background has turned into white.
The shirt has a thicker V-neck than the away shirt, which has white on the right and red-white-blue (the Dutch flag) on the left of the neck.
White shorts, also with the Dutch flag on them and the socks are light-blue (the same colour as the away shorts). This blue is lighter than used in the 06-07 socks.

It\'s rather bland, but that\'s not unexpected, there\'s not much you can do with it. It looks nice though, the collar is a nice idea.

it\'s not particularly bad, but not particularly nice too, however from a pic you can\'t give a definitive judgement, a closer look needs to be taken. the collar reminds me the adidas shirts of the 90s, will this start a new collar trend in the future?

However even if I don\'t like light blue socks I hope they\'ll wear them..in last world cup socks should be blue, but they always played with a total orange kit

Have a look at the numbers: this is the worst number design ever, I think.

The Germay Football tops are much better in design , fabric and colour
Das ist Fantastik

The Holland design looks like it has been created , based upon Kintergarden drawings.Very basic and very poor

When you think of Holland , it\'s the classic round neck , three adidas stripes down the long sleeves. A very censoredy strip , deserving censoredy football

God only knows the standard of # total \' football that this strip will inspire ?

The friendly match against Austria is on 26th March, not 24th. And the can\'t wear this shirt, because Austria is wearing red at home. You saying bullshit! The Oranjes will play in blue.

Still think the last home and away kits are the best we had in years. These ones are allright, but I\'ll continue wearing my old one.
