Why is it blue?

Maybe it\'s because India have a blue wheel (Ashoka Chakra) in the middle of their deep saffron, white and green tricolour flag. It\'s only a guess!

Yes,I think it\'s exactly the same 06 Brazil\'s shirt template..but before Nike thinks an exclusive shirt for India,Indians should lern to play football..

Anyway I like very much the budge format.. It looks very Indian!

The intriguing thing is - India had a new Nike kit in 2006 with the same template as Belgium, Australia, Russia, Man U (away), Barça (away) at the time, with the white vertical stripe... and now, another Nike 2006 design, exactly the same as the old Brazil shirt but with the change of colours.

I\'m surprised they didn\'t have the same design as what Slovenia, Serbia, Belgium and Singapore have got for this year, albeit in blue??!!

Italy play in blue cos azure blue was the colour of the house of savoy which expanded to rule over what we now know as italy.

Its not too bad. Priced at a very steep £45 I probably wouldnt buy it because of the collar. The old nike kit looked a lot better

India\'s players were once banned from playing a World Cup match because the players wanted to play in bare feet. I think it was to do with not wanting to wear leather boots. Leather of course, coming from cows, which are sacred.

I\'m sure someone of Indian roots can confirm that.
