the third kit is never white..either blue or black apart from one season when they opted for a yellow and green shirt and grey in the 90s

FYI, the away shirt is white while the 3rd shirt will go back to the traditional blue again to commemorate their 1st European Cup win in 1968. There will be embroidery round the badge or something to that effect.

Well... I don\'t like it that much. We should have better kits as we are the best team in the world at the moment.

First, i don\'t like the blue parts, they should be black.
Second, the shirt is too plain.

The good thing is that it\'s white and not black. Don\'t like the black kits that much.

Me as a United Fan - I love it.
If this was our next seasons shirt, I\'ll definately get one.
But i wonder if it\'s real because will they really continue having this border around the United badge?
I wouldn\'t mind because it\'s looks actually really good, but will they really keep it?!

Ive wanted a new \'newton heath\' like shirt for years!!
that was the best strip ever.

then again, will nike ever listen to the people?

White away and blue third...and this season black away...last season white away and third blue...before that black, white...BORING. Why can\'t United show a little imagination in choosing their away strips? Some halves, some hoops, some stripes, yokes, V\'s, contrasting sleeves, chest bands, diagonal slashes, anything at all, instead of this continuously drab and pedestrian stroll around these basic primary colours. And yes, why not refer to the yellow and green colours of their heritage?

Never thought I\'d say it, but I wish United had stuck with Umbro. At least they used to design some interesting away strips

disclaimer: i\'m a utd fan.
this shirt is rubbish. it may have been slightly better if the detailing was black and red; i\'m thinking the \'83/84 away kit. this is unimaginative. the stripe is similar to other current nike kits.
hope it\'s not genuine.

I think this shirt could well be the real away shirt. The reason why I think this is because of the navy blue aig and Nike logos etc. This means that United can wear this white away shirt with the shorts (and socks) of new third blue kit when needed e.g. vs West Ham away.
I hope I\'m wrong cos I don\'t like this shirt. Would be better without the red v neck.

This is a bit boring. Its just the same template as the euro 2008 nike shirts. Whilst i prefer Nikes style their designs lack the imagination that umbros did during the 90\'s. Come on Nike, give us Utd fans some originality seeing we\'re worth the most to you!!

I relly like this shirt it brings something diffrent out in this shirt. I dont normally like white kits because they are too plain. But this one using the colours well. The templait blue line brings a great effect to the shirt and i hope that this is the new away kit for next season and i also hope that we get a new 3rd kit which i hope could be yellow with a blend of green. I belive that this is going to be the new away kit for next season and the Blue kit is a FAKE.

It seems to me that those claiming to be United supporters wishing for more \"vivid\" jerseys are unaware of our history. The solid red shirts are an important part of our history. Do you really want contrasting sleeves in our colors so we can look like the Arse? Granted, we\'ve had more visual interest in our aways but I actually think Nike has done a good job with our simple, classic (and classy) shirts in the past few years. Some of the final Umbro aways were awful. I think last year\'s home shirt was one of the best-looking, classy shirts anyone has worn in the last decade.

That said, I\'d like to see a return to the traditional blue third alt., or, perhaps better yet, a centenary-type yellow and green half-and-half. One of the best Umbro shirts we\'ve had was the navy blue with thin white hoops and a black collar a few years back.

im not asking for crazy shirts and yes some of the 90\'s kits were terrible but at least umbo gave utd some originality away from the other umbro kits out there and i just think that as utd bring in a hell of a lot more income from shirt sales than the likes of arsenal that they shoudl have more original shirts that deviate from the yearly templates. The 06/07 home shirt was a brilliant design and i wish they\'d kept it for another year as the current home shirt is tacky!!

This is the kit ... The blue will be the \"homage\" to \'68. United Direct now has the Red kit listed as 07/09, the Black as away 07/09, and no doubt this will function as the third and European kit.

If they went with an all-blue kit, they would need a fourth white to compete in the Champions League on the off chance of playing at side\'s like Barça who have dark, multi-coloured strips (hence why we wore white, not the black at the Nou Camp this year).

Sir Alex recently called the Glazers \"fantastic owners\" and I believe United will stick with ONLY three kits (red, white, black) this season, then introduce new red home and blue away for 09/11. Logical

it was newton heath LYR and when we became Man Utd we wore blue and white stripes or a white shirt with a red diamond before the red shirt came into being.

everyone also seems to be forgetting that we rotate the colours of our alternative shirts and its time for a blue one.

on top of that there are 4 variations of the new shirt on you tube. 1. white with a red stripe 2. grey 3. black 4. as above, so lets just wait and see!!!

The picture quality of the white shirts at the top looks pretty poor, however the shirt looks alright, but not great as I agree that nike\'s kits are starting to get to plain and too boring, so I prefer the days we were with Umbro because at least they have imagination.

And with these 2 shirt pictures, one of the poor quality:

and the one with a wax looking figure that is supposed to be Ronaldo that looks nothing like him:

Notice how the first picture has no embroided stripes while the second one does?

the new white away shirt is crap, im not gettin it. The badge isnt even embroyded if u ask me its just a way to make more money for the club. Why does man utd feel the need to change there away kit each season.

By the way a brand new blue 3rd away kit has just been launched. This kit will celebrate the 40th aniversary of when we first won the european cup
