There are pictures on the web of this new green mexico shirt for the 08/09 season made by Adidas. Mexico recently decided to change their home colour to white , so probably this version was already finished before that. Could this be the new Mexico 3rd away shirt?

I\'m not entirely sure if Mexico\'s kit change to white for home is set in stone. Also if this was a \"third\" kit then what colour would the away kit be?

Mexico coach Hugo Sanchez wants:
home-white(like his former club real)
away-red(to avoid green)

Thus this leaves green as the natural choice for any 3rd jersey.

As burb says, this jersey was probably designed and approved on paper before the change in coach.

As far as I know its up to the national federations to decide the national team colours, but it still needs to go through a production process.

So Mexician FA might not confirm the change to white until they unveil the new jersey.
