This is the new Plymouth Argyle new tangerine and green away kit for the 2008/09 season made by Puma

This is the new Plymouth Argyle new tangerine and green away kit for the 2008/09 season made by Puma and is inspired by the away kit that Argyle secured the 2001/02 Third Division title.

The so-called 'tangergreen' shirt was used as an away kit in 2001-2002 in homage to Argyle manager Paul Sturrock and his beloved Dundee United and proved to be a huge success.

Argyle also wore 'tangergreen' winning the 2003/04 Second Division title.

Now, at Home Park the fans want the 'tangergreen' away shirt to make a return for next season, with 32% of fans voting for the colour. White was voted into second place by the fans with 30% and yellow polled 18%.

The kit, modelled by striker Jermaine Easter, will go on sale on Saturday, May 3.

The short-sleeved men's version costs GBP 39.99 while the long-sleeve version is GBP 42.99. Shorts are GBP 19.99 and socks GBP 9.99. Ladies shirts cost GBP 39.99 and children's shirts at GBP 29.99.

The kit, modelled by striker Jermaine Easter, will go on sale on Saturday, May 3.

Nice kit IMO, the green shorts compliment the orange top well, but the socks should be all orange I think.

Okay thought.

It looks like yet another Puma kit which will look a season out of date, just like every other kit made by Genesis/Kit@ under the Puma licence. Just take the collar from the previous season\'s Puma kits, tweak a bit here and there, made some socks on a hybrid pattern of the new Puma V1.08 equivalents and away to go. We\'ve seen that already with a few other 08/09 UK-based Puma teams so far on this site.

Just look at most of the current Puma kits made under the licence, they\'re more or less the V1.06 without the watermark!

Still a decent looking kit though!
