Norwich City officially unveiled their new 08/09 away kit (and red GK shirt) bearing the name of new sponsors Aviva, which replaces the red kit worn last season. The kit is produced by Xara and will run for one year, until the end of the 2008-2009 season. The first deliveries are expected by mid-August. The shirt price is: adult short-sleeve £40, youth short-sleeve £30, ladies' £36, goalkeeper adult £45, goalkeeper youth £35, adult long-sleeve £45 and infant kit £27.

Asked for his opinion on the new kit, Roeder was complimentary about the design on both new Aviva strips. "I think the new kit is fantastic. Obviously we're very lucky to secure Aviva as our new sponsor, and I think it's a great new strip. Both the home and away kits are special, and I hope they bring us lots of luck this year.

"I've not been to the Norfolk show before, and it knocks me out how many people are here and the interest that they're showing in the events that are going on. I think everyone likes the new kit, and I think that everyone is very positive about it and the new season."

The kit is alright but Xara has to go!

Norwich should bring in some one like Umbro. Now that would look classy.

Why?

A good kit doesn\'t depend on who makes it. Umbro have made some atrocious kits down the years.

This kit is simple yet aesthetically pleasing with no annoying distractions or gimmicks.

You should be proud to wear this shirt due to the badge on the left, regardless of the logo on the right!

I see where your coming from mate, but Xara is pure shite. I am a Norwich a supporter myself and we would do much better with a big name on the right bit of the chest!

Dosent look very norwich like needs some green or yellow with the black.

3/5

Yep,not bad as an away kit.
I don\'t think it misses some yellow and green,an away kit doesn\'t have to have social colours trims everyear.

Anyway, cardiff city fans that complain about XARA, should feel lucky thinking about Surridge,Vandanel or Carlotti branded shirts.

Nice layout Aviva

If the badge were any higher it\'d be on the shoulder!

it is as dull as Delias\' dishwater! It is a 80s\' cross over neck, it is black and white it has no green or yellow, xara are a joke! Umbro, Nike or Joma would do
much better jobs on it. It\'s as well Hull got promoted otherwise the dreaded 3rd kit would arrive.
Not good at all-and the home kit is bad as well!
Back to the drawing board.

I agree about makers not being important, some of our fans whine about le cog when it\'s clear that we\'ve got the most exclusive and nicest looking shirts in the league.

I don\'t like this kit though.

Black\'s a fitting colour for a team who stand a good chance of going down next season

This will be the only NCFC strip I ever buy and I\'ll even stock up.

Gorgeous kit, simple and effective.

And re: Xara, Who cares? I mean it\'s a football kit. I\'ve a hell of a lot more respect for them a small British company who are committed to the club than all of the Yankee buy-ins put together.

Resurect the Ribero strip worn during the UEFA cup run.
