Rangers 08/09 Home Umbro Football kit launched
Rangers FC launched te new home football kit for the 2008/2009 season made by Umbro The new shirt is traditional Rangers Blue with an embroidered Rangers scroll crest on the left breast, an Umbro logo on the right and is anatomically cut to emphasize the athleticism of the modern player.
It features a hybrid neckline with no exposed seems for added comfort and a twill mesh body fabric which makes it lightweight and breathable. On the back of the shirt there is a trilogy back panel - a new version of Umbro's lead fabric technology specifically developed to include a zonal body map mesh design - and also features a Saltire on the back neck.
The shirt is complemented by traditional white shorts and black and red socks while the home shorts will also carry the Rangers Charity Foundation logo on the rear for the first time.
Lee McCulloch commented: "The new top looks fantastic, all the boys are looking forward to playing in it and I'm sure the supporters will be keen to get their hands on it too.
"I am also pleased the Rangers Charity Foundation logo will be displayed on the shorts.
"The Foundation works so hard to improve the lives of thousands of people every season and we are delighted it will receive this exposure."
Rangers Charity Foundation Manager, Connal Cochrane, added: "I am delighted the home shorts will display the Foundation's logo in the new season.
"Everyone at the Club is proud of the Foundation's achievements and the fact the players will play in shorts with its logo will really raise awareness."

Celtic & Rangers are a cancer in our game (and society) but unfortunatly the Premiership has your card marked and you will NEVER get in there.

On another point, Rangers first game in this shirt they didn\'t wear the new socks. Last season when they wore all blue they wore the shorts from the previous season and the socks from 2 seasons previous. So Rangers supporters buying the full kit aren\'t buying the kit the team will wear, why???

As for the league who will win and who wont, well i dont know our signings havent been great, far from it in fact and Celtics havent been much better, the latter won the league last year because they wanted it more they played every game right to the final whistle, where as we had a tendency to switch off about twenty minutes from the end of games.
We started the season telling everyone there would be no excuses about the schedule and to be honest i havent heard any complaints from the management team about it, the fans have complained endlessly.
I believe that if you want to be in four competitions and be taken seriously then you need to expect to play a hell of a lot of games, and if you dont have the strength in depth to play 60+ games per season then it will take its toll fact is people class the season as a failure we finished with two trophies went to a UEFA cup final yeah we were poor in the final but we were still there, and we badly faltered in the league at the end but the fact is we played so many games and still managed to keep the league going to the very end.
I may be a little naive but i would like to say this Good Luck to Celtic for next season and i hope to god the league is as close as last year from my viewpoint i would prefer a reversal of the positions.
