Southampton 2008-2009 Home Umbro football kit 
Southampton fc have revealed their new home kit for the 08/09 season. The kit is the first manufactured by Umbro as part of the clubs exciting new five-year agreement whereby Umbro become the official kit supplier to the Club. The new strip will be available to buy in the stadium Megastore, WestQuay and in Sanders Sports in Newport IOW from 9am on Friday 13th June. For all those fans who want to get their kit on the day of launch it can be pre ordered now. Fans are advised that there is a slight variation on sizes when compared to previous kits. Details of Umbro sizing can be found at the online store.
With the player transfer window now open, fans are also reminded that if they choose to have a current players name and number printed on their shirt, the club will not replace shirts if that player should leave the club or change squad number. Details of the launch of the new training ranges and away kit will be announced shortly.

It has it\'s own unique appeal, and why not? After all these years Southampton deserve a manufacturer like Umbro, and now they have the nicest shirt they have worn in nearly a decade! Look, not even a sponsor on the back to mar it!
