Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, also known as UANL or simply Tigres, unveiled its new home and away kit for the upcoming 08/09 season. The  Mexican club UANL Tigres were born as Jabatos, and later changed their name to "Tigres" (Tigers) in 1960.

The club does not assign the number 12 to any player in order to honour its fans as the 12th man.

the stripe un the home and away jersey has the image of the Tigres stadium and the letters UANL

Mexican league shirts, especially those made by Atletica, are some of the best around. Tigre\'s Adidas shirts are also distinctive, especially the use of shiny and vibrant blue and yellow. My only criticism is the feeble collar on the yellow home shirt. I don\'t think collars look good on football shirts and this half hearted effort certainly detracts from the overall appearance.

The away one is 90% similar to the boca juniors 05 nike kit, well done adidas :cheer: creativity over all the things. Nothing to say about the home kit.

Of course, like every mexican club, you don\'t know where the f*** is the team\'s name because of the sponsors.
