Wolverhampton Wanderers unveiled their new away shirt made by Le Coq Sportif for the 08/09 season. We already showed you a leaked picture of it back in April, but now it's official. The reaction from Wolves' supporters suggest it is going to be one of the club's most popular change strips ever.

You'll find the new Home 08/09 Wolves kit here

Thanks to Lee

The collar is weird but the overall design is quiet simple.
I like it.

I\'m with everyone else, that would be a great kit if it wasn\'t for that freaky collar. It\'s the first thing that catches your eye and really detracts from the overall shirt.

Lime green trimmings-why?
Old gold is so much better-the model looks a touch on the perplexed front! Can\'t say I blamer the poor soul, the coller does look as if it isn\'t sure what it is meant to be + it looks as if it isn\'t going to comfortable to plasy in-which is the entire point of these kits and will the shorts clash-mainlly due to the fact they are the same similar colour to the home shorts.

Its just wrong in so many ways.

I can understand a black away kit but with fluorescent yellow?

Fluorescent colours just don\'t work!

Just because Chelsea used it doesn\'t mean every team should have to use it even though the colour has no meaning to the club.

As a Wolves fan i am just fed up with Le Coq Sportif and there oversized poor attempts of football shirts. Man City are the only team to get some sort of decent design out of it.

2 things they should focus on for the near future.

1.] The pattern of the shirt must be symmetrical without any random design.

and

2.] The fit of the shirt must be modern and not oversized like every Wolves shirt has been since i\'ve been born.

GET RID OF LE COQ SPORTIF PLEASE!

Why that crappy collar???

I can imagine that\'s what a collar would look like if I sewed it together in the dark, not from a collar from major kit manufacture.

very bored of black away kits.. dont like the colour for football shirts.. Lets make a law for 2009-10 all goalies in green (not plymouth or yeovil of course) and all refs in black .

I agree with you 100% Tony, I think the kit designers and clubs need to look beyond the lazy answer of black away kits. The whole dark and mysterious look of a black kit doesn\'t have the same impact that it used to.

The collar looks ace. It\'s what makes it different. Everyone moans about the umbro/adidas repetitions, but then someone does something different, and it gets slated. Behave yourselves.

I understand where censoreddarlington is coming from, and as a Wolves fan I\'ll still probably buy it, but at first glance the collar just looks messy and uncomfortable to wear. I realise some fans are sick of all black away kits, but from where I read (I\'m in Australia) most of the feedback from Wolves fans are they love the all black kits. The admiral ( ) one from four/five seasons ago was a classic.

Although I wouldn\'t go so far as LU3YtheWOLF in being anti-LCS, it\'s hard to argue when you view this offering with the Guatemala and Jamaica kits!

What has this got to do with the Wolves away kit?

Anyway the away kit is awful IMO, horrendous collar.

Im only anti-LCS because even the Admiral kits were better and the only good design LCS have produced was the pinstripe Man City shirt which would of looked awesome if Wolves had it. Oh and it was actually a shirt that fit and looked smart.

But Wolves on the other hand get crappy designs that don\'t really have anything behind them and the only thing people can get excited about is a poor poor poor excuse of a collar.

The pinstripe would of been bringing back a classic shirt that Wolves once had.

Im not really bothered about the colour but black doesn\'t really look that good when its just a plain design and especially when it had fluorescent yellow detailing.

Pale blue, white aqua green are all better options.

Oh!

Forgot to mention that the collar looks awkward so thats why its not really appealing to me.

Since Im on a role though lol.
The shirt on Kightly just shows what Im on about when Im moaning about the sizing.

I just wish they produced a shirt that looks nice and doesn\'t fit like a tent.

How on earth is that one of the best kits Wolves have had Liam Burns?

How? i ask you!!

Its shocking.

Im a wolves fan and to be honest we haven\'t had a good kit in a long long time.

You can clearly see the difference in quality from the high standards of Nike, Puma, Adidas, Kappa, Lotto to the low standard that is Le Coq Sportif. Even the likes of Jako could do a better job and there just oh so very poor.
