We already showed you some pictures of what seems to be the new Arsenal 09/10 away kit made by Nike a few weeks ago.

Arsenal Football Club today reveals its new away kit with a design that celebrates the sartorial excellence of the Club’s London birthplace.

Available for pre-order from today, Thursday 21st May and on sale from Thursday 25th June in club shops and online.

The new kit embraces design features including a pinstripe in the shirt and a polo collar inspired by the shirts worn by the all-conquering side of the 1930s.

Inside the collar is a high-quality woven label that reads Arsenal, while engineered in to the side seam is a small blue label featuring two Arsenal canons either side of the club motto, ‘Victoria Concordia Crescit,’ which translates as ‘Victory Comes From Harmony.’

Along with the midnight blue shirt, the kit features midnight blue shorts with a photo blue stripe along the side with white canon stitched in to the back of the shorts on the waist-band and midnight blue socks with a photo blue stripe on the top band and Arsenal printed on the calf.

The shirt is made from Nike’s innovative Dri-Fit fabric, which keeps players drier, cooler and lighter by drawing sweat from the body to the fabric’s surface, while its three-dimensional construction gives more air space around the skin to reduce clinging.

Arsenal have long been revered as one of English football’s most traditional and stylish clubs. The Londoners boast a rich heritage and have always sought to play football with flair and sophistication.

While the modern day Arsenal has an increasingly continental influence, they remain a very English club, playing in the heart of the capital and representing the best of English style. The new Arsenal away kit has been inspired by the London’s sartorial excellence and Arsenal’s proud history and iconic footballing style.

In the last 20 years Arsenal have had many blue away kits!

This image is hardly \"leaked\" its available on the arsenal website!

The first nike kit was actually 15 years ago, and according to this http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Arsenal/Arsenal-change-kits.html, we have actually historically had a blue away strip before the yellow

poly your right. i looked 20mins ago on arsenal.com and there was no pics, just checked back and it\'s there. i still think it\'s crap, arsenal should get rid of nike and go to adidas or umbro. some of the best kits have been from those two companies, most of our worst looking kit has come from nike.

Utter crap . I read yesterday in the trade press that NIKE have got rid of 5000 staff as sales are down....I can see why and would guess that most of them were from the design dept. This is a lazy complacent and shoddy attempt. A great club deserve a lot better than this . I think gooners deserve better

I hate that they\'ve put that f*ckin\' \"register mark\" ® near to the crest. What? Arsenal is a company or a corporation? It\'s A FOOTBALL CLUB. So WTF?
Now they think that the crest won\'t be copied anymore? That\'s bullsh*t.

Btw the kit isn\'t so bad, I like the stripes, but the template is a bit boring.

If you don\'t like it, it\'s easy enough to remove it, just get a quick unpick from your mum\'s sewing kit.

And the club has registered the badge as a trademark so they can take legal avenues to sue makers of counterfeit shirts for trademark infringement. This is the reason they changed the badge a few seasons back.

The goalkeeping kit is horrid. Yellow w/ gold sleeves, what were they thinking? I can\'t give Arsenal to much crap though, when my club is going around sporting man bra\'s haha. Kits these days are getting way to complicated.

Cheers.

I think that dark navy blue suits well for Arsenal away. However, I\'m not so sure for the skyblue stripes. Perhaps it would have been better with larger space between each of them. And the buttoned-like collar looks odd.

Anyway, I don\'t agree with some of you on the keeper\'s kit. I find it nice, there is some work on the mix of colors, even if I prefer Liverpool\'s keeper kit all yellow.

very classy.

The new GK template follow the style that Nike introduced in WC 06
We will see the same template for the Nike team in different colors..
Grey, Green, Red, Black, Yellow,Skyblue..
but I like it, so simple.

Delighted by the fact that Nike won\'t be using their stupid goalkeeper design next season, anything is an improvement.

Is Almunia wearing Adipure II? He normally wears old T90 Lasers

It took a while, but I\'m really growing to like this. I would definitely consider buying this. I liked the last egg-yolk-yellow away kit for the design more than the colour, but the new away kit looks incredibly smart. I was thoroughly disappointed with the 08/10 home shirts, not only the lack of white sleeves, but the awful V neck. 06/08 was a classic in the making.

:angry you cant talk that Shocking brown kit the half coventry half yours that was crap as well and that ponsey baby blue one. Nearly all your kits have been absolute crap and your not even in eroupe and you havnt beat us in the league for 11 years you have always lived in our shadow and even in the last season at highbury which was our worst season at that time we still finnished above you and finnished in the champions legue spot. you have never even got the Opportunity to by a shirt with a champions legue patch on it. you havent won the legue since 1961 i could go on all day

I thought it was really nice and smart until I flew Emirates yesterday - the female flight attendants were wearing shirts with the traditional beige-ish skirt - The shirts were white collared shirts with the exact maroon red pinstripes running down the shirts. (Some don\'t wear the beige overcoat, just the shirt)

Can\'t find a pic but here\'s evidence: http://www.asiatraveltips.com/news08/176-EmiratesAirline.shtml

\"The most noticeable elements of the new uniform, on the women\'s side, include beige piping detail on the new red hat, subtle red pin stripes throughout, more fitted, chic blouses and eye catching, red kick-pleats in the skirts.\"

Sadly Arsenal has now become a full scale walking advertisement for Emirates extending even to being ambassadors for Emirates flight crews.
