Benfica unveiled the official home kits for the 2009/10 season

The shirt includes the most advanced textile technology of adidas; Formotion (a complete system that adapts to the natural movement of the body during the practice of sport, and Clima365 ™ (optimizes the temperature of the player keeping it dry and comfortable allowing you a better performance in ideal temperature for the sport you are practicing).

The shirts will be available for 71 Euro’s at all adidas stores and online shops.

Meh. Slightly above average home kit. Nice simple design but the front sponsor clashes a bit. I guess that\'s a Liga Sagres thing and you have to deal with it.

A propósito, não ficaram em terceiro. Foram campeões com esta mesma camisola. Serviu... para ficar em primeiro (By the way, Benfica didn't end in third. It won the championship wearing this same shirt. It fit... to end on the top).

Como sportinguista nem acho assim tão mau.O que faz o equipamento tão desiquilibrado é mesmo o sponsor porque misturar azul e encarnado não fica bem, tendo em conta q no kit deles, azul é coisa que não existe.


As a sporting fan, i don´t think its that bad.The thing that makes the kit so strange is the sponsor \'cause mixing blue and red does not fit, and besides in benfica´s kit they never had blue things.

the home shirt is classy, although a bit on the boring side. however, the introduction of that frontal bumper sticker is a joke. I like the goalie\'s kit; they should have used it as the 2nd option

the saving grace to this god awful jersey is the signing of Javier Saviola from Real Madrid. Now there is a reason to watch the third best team in Portugal.

Its okay, no it would be okay if it were not for that sponsor. I could understand if it was a smaller club and the colour was not changed, but Benfica? O Glorioso? Surely they could push it though to have a main sponsor logo on the shirt that was just one colour and did not clash with the kit so much?

Well, personally I think this is the best Benfica kit since 2004. I Love the design (it\'s the same from the new palmeiras home and the Colorado Rapids kits), and it\'s very nice and simple like this. I don\'t really like the main sponsor, but its by far better than Portugal Telecom, which we used two years ago. Meo, or even Sagres would look much better, but it\'s advertising, they pay, we have no choice but to live with that :unsure:

Rather drab, this one...it\'s one of your bog-standard, run-of-the-mill Adidas styles. And, yes, that bumper sticker ad on the front is hideous to say the least.
