Benfica presented the new away shirt made by adidas for the 2009/10 season.

The ceremony took place at the Museum of Design and Fashion.

The colours do suit the template and the sponsor logo complements the shirt, but still not convinced that the collar works (looks unfinished) and Benfica definitely win the prize for having the most complicated club crest.

It looks like something Mussolini or Saddam would have come up with!

Calm down Rui, wasn\'t accusing Benfica of links with dictators, just commenting on these guys love for lots of braid, stars, eagle fixations etc and Benfica\'s over-complicated crest.

3 stars plus an eagle etc appear on Irag\'s old flag and coat of arms.

Goodness, aren\'t some people over-sensitive.

The 3 star make reference to the 31 portuguese titles that benfica won , like in italy for the calcio's and a lot of other clubs, the eagle symbol is just like another, i agree with Rui when he says that your comment was stupid

When it seemed that adidas made a good decision in making a soft sponsor on front, instead of that god deamth huge stickers, then we look at the back of the shirt and we see that horrible back sponsor, why?? why ORANGE??
Sagres has quite nice logo, why blowing all the shirt with that design??
Anyway this shirt is almost same template than Ajax AFC away 06/07 shirt
This shirt in dark grey would look sooooooo much better
