The shirt has BFC 1909 "embroidered on the pocket and the centenary " 1909-2009 "on back of the collar, buttons bear the engraving "Bologna 1909-2009. The shirt, like the original version, Designed without the logos of sponsors and Macron brand.

The shirt will be produced in limited edition, only 1909 pieces are made to honor the year of founding of the club and are handmade in Italy.

In the version that will be used for the game on October 4, the fabric has been revised conform to regulation of of the Italian Football League, such as polyurethane buttons that allow greater security for the players.

That\'s a proper centenary kit - no frills, exact reproduction of the original, minus the huge steel toe-capped boots and heavy leather balls of course...

FINALLY! A vintage shirt that actually looks like the team/shirt they are trying to commemorate. Unlike Manchester United with the 09/10 that is supposed to be like the WHITE shirt from years ago, even though it looks nothing like it.

If your going to go vintage, why not do it right?!

Nicely done, Macron!

I agree. A TRUE vintage reproduction, not some lame half-baked effort. They are wearing it just once, so, well done Macron and Bologna.

Great kit, but aren\'t the buttons on the wrong side? Compare the shirt to the one on the player in the old photo to the lower right hand side and you\'ll see what I mean.

As it is now, the buttons are on what is traditionally the wrong side for men\'s shirts (ie the correct side for a womens blouse for example).

Excelent effort otherwise by Macron - I\'d love one of these in Newton Heath green and gold...

If that was anymore vintage it would be a saber toothed tiger pelt... it\'s quality.

Maybe the Wesy Ham kit might not be bad after all if the go down this road.

That is one of the best if not the best centenary shirt I\'ve seen. I agree that the large white shorts look a bit off, but the shirt is incredible and so vintage.

Nice one. In argentina PUMA released two similar kits for GIMNASIA and ROSARIO central and the kick ass. Imagine the quality ...

And shirts are more \"fresh\" than football shirts, jaja....

Wow, the best vintage shirt I have ever seen, pure class.

You know what \'Anonymous\', there are reasons why kits don\'t look like this any more but the main ones are cold-hearted mass globalisation and the shamelessly pathetic, embarrassingly transparent, scarcely creative, profit orgy that football shirt design has become, and full credit to this kit for, just once, honouring the days when this was not the case with a touch of class and dignity.

They are thought to have adopted their red and blue stripes from Crystal Palace F.C???

Are you serious man? This is the TRUE story:

"...After long discussions, red and blue were chosen as team colours. However, the colours were not chosen because they correspond to the colours of the city, but following the proposal of Arrigo Gradi, who - having played with the Swiss college of Schoneberg Rossbach - had two red-and-blue team kits, one of which he was ready to offer to the club to save some money. However, these original shirts were different from the current kit: in fact, only the arm sleeves had alternated colours. In 1910/11, the traditional shirt with red and blue stripes was adopted".
