Bolton Wanderers unveiled the brand new home kit for the 2009/2010 season, which is now available for pre-order from the Club Superstore.

The Club revealed earlier in the week that 188BET were to take over as Principal Sponsor with their logo featuring prominently on the new adult home and away shirts and also on the Club's official team training wear and leisurewear for the next two seasons.

Commenting on the partnership, chairman Phil Gartside said: "This is a fantastic and lucrative deal for the Club and represents the beginning of an exciting partnership with 188BET."

Andy Scott, CEO of 188BET, added: "We are delighted to be partnering with an ambitious club like Bolton Wanderers, which offers the ideal starting point to develop the 188BET brand across the European market over the next two years."

The new home kit will be worn by the Wanderers players on Saturday afternoon when they take on Hull City in the final home game of the Barclays Premier League campaign and is now available for pre-order.

Featuring new Principal Sponsor, 188BET, the fresh, new design is a modern and distinctive look for the new season and has been designed and produced by leading sportswear company and long-standing Bolton Wanderers technical sponsor Reebok.

The new shirt is priced at £39.99 for adult short-sleeved and £29.99 for junior short-sleeved (Please note: all junior-sized kits will not display the 188BET logo).

The shirt integrates 'PLAYDRY' technology into the fabric, which is a moisture management system that helps keep the body cooler, drier and more comfortable.

I like the stripes at the bottom, but the logo of the sponsor looks awful, and the one shoulder stripe is just wrong, that should have been left off. the worst part however is the socks, they are just awful

Bolton fan ere, I like 95% of other Bolton fans on the forums aren\'t happy, we thought last years was bad this is worse. Reebok have totally lost the plot completely and the stripes at the bottom, don\'t get me started on them!

Without a shadow of a doubt, the VERY worst football kit i have ever seen in my life

Oh,

That\'s so so ugly

0 # 2009-05-14 22:18
Different... and not unpleasant. Much better than the current one, and more like last season\'s, which I thought was rather nice.

Has the sleeve got an integral base layer ?

What is it with Bolton and hideous kits? Last years were bad enough
Reply | Reply with quote | Quote

0 # 2009-05-14 22:22
That\'s pretty nice actually..most people have no sense of design and have no clue how to judge from pictures...at least the shape of the white part that forms a V where the stripes touch base works with the sponsor logo..otherwise it would look way off..and the thick black stripe on the sleeve offsets the stripes on the bottom..all in all, a very nice kit, I\'m sure you people will like it in person...yet again, if you\'re older, you prob don\'t like any kit that\'s released by anyone anymore lol

i think i like this only 1% more than the last bolton kit, and that one was truly awful. the only reason is tht i like the slightly longer sleeves

0 # 2009-05-14 22:27
I may be wrong here, but is the plain white area on the shirt the same shape as the orange part of the sponsor? If so that\'s pretty cheeky - like the big \"T\" on that Coventry kit in the 70s/80s

0 # CR91 2009-05-14 22:30
The lines and the sponsor look quite good.
However the rest of the shirt is just poor. It annoys me that the badge is soo small, its ment to represent the team well.
Its a shame because Bolton have a good team and im sure they will have a good season next year. I hope they dont have the same template for the away shirt.

I would say its awful but considering this seasons kit, its alright. I think there is too much going on on it. Either plain white with the stripes or the detailing without the stripes.

They\'ve tried way too hard to keep the Reebok symbol central underneath the collar which messes the whole shirt up in my opinion.

I just think they should have reduced the size of the sponsor down by about 10%, increased the size of \'reebok\' by about the same and moved it to the left of the badge.

How did that get off the drawing board. Beyond belief.

Who green-lighted it?
Stevie Wonder?

Blimey, Bolton! Not only do they have a poor team logo (why do they have those ridiculous blue and red ribbons?), but they have had a bunch of terrible football strips. This one looks like it has been made from late 1970s/ early 1980s wallpaper.
Reebok have made some good kits for Brazilian teams like Sao Paulo, Cruzeiro and Internacional, but they have failed on a grand scale with Bolton.

What is going on with shirts this year ?
Chelsea\'s, Man Utd\'s (sneak peak), Bolton Sunderland\'s and Wigan\'s shirts have all been wose than the previous sseason...We are going backwards not forwards...This looks like a 1990\'s shirt...The stripes at the bottom are just awful...All black stripes yet some orange blob slap bang in the middle....WTF ?

Very disappointing.

Either have those stripes run all the way to the top or don\'t have them at all. The Reebok logos on the sleeves look horrid, and the sponsor name/logo is just a shame.

And somehow Reebok managed to eff up the socks too. Geez.

A lot of brave design elements on this kit. This season\'s one is one of the worst I\'ve seen and this is a great move on for Bolton. I like the stripes (if nothing else they\'re different) I like the shape of the sleeves and the Reebok logos at the end. No need for the asymetric shoulder stripe, 188 bet logo not doing the shirt any favours but there\'s not much they can do about that! Shorts and socks look like a rushed afterthought.

Reebok designed the shirt when adidas wasn\'t looking

I don\'t think anyone was looking. This isn\'t meant to be worn in a match is it?Bolton fans should do what Feyenoords fan\'s did;flood the club website with complaints until somebody changes it.Makes last year\'s Bolton kit look like a classic. My heartgoes out to the bolton supporters.

You mean to tell me it was ACTUALLY POSSIBLE to come up with a worse design than last year\'s Bolton kit? I never would have believed it in a million years. I suspect next year Reebok will have Bolton playing in ruffled clown suits.

The moral of this story can only be to pay your kit bills on time...Bolton has apparently failed to make good on its end and this is Reebok\'s way of getting sweet revenge.

without the stripes and gastly sponsor i think this shirt would look great
Reebok should keep it simple like the 07/08 kit or the 06/07 kit
fingers crossed the away kit isn just the same but in black or mustard yellow
