This seems to be the new Middlesbrough 09/10 home shirt made by Adidas. The new Boro 09/10 kits are not yet officially unveiled, this is a leaked picture.
Thanks to James.

Enough said!

and all the other teams with errea always had one of thir strips based on one of our old ones
Why would we want other colours on it
jog on son
It looks a lot more generic, and not really Boro. The banded shirt from last season was really nice, with the interesting detail. this is just a kit that happens to have a lion badge on it. pretty average, nothing special. considering there was a campaign to bring the chest band back, I think this is a let down
Terrible template for a terrible team!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Horrible all over!! A real stinker from adidas!
This template isn\'t too bad on other teams, but not this one. Should\'ve stuck with Errea - last year\'s kit was fine, this year\'s Burnley kits are excellent too.
But...
It completely detracts from the traditional \'Boro shirt, all red with horizontal white band. Won\'t go down well with the true \'Boro fans. Also, I didn\'t see anything wrong with the old circular badge, why change it?
I thought the fixtures didn\'t come out until Wednesday? Busted!

Where is the horizontal stripe, it looks as though a 4year old designed it.
bring errea back anyday!
An overly-complicated, asymmetrical pile of cack.
hoping it is a fake becasue i don\'t think garmin is the sponsor next season. they signed a one year for the 07/08 season and nothing has been mentioned since. also the training gear doesn\'t have a sponsor on it apparantly??
the errea \"crap\" kit at least was original and made in nanotech fabric, this is the spain template, no horizontal band, the badge is totally unbalanced. the sponsor is an ordinary flex and not transpirant as the errea one. I\'m sorry you got no taste at all. the Burnley kit is great and classic.
generic adidas template (spain), very poor and unbalanced application of the badge, no horizontal band. great effort of the designer! crap!!!
garmin are our sponsor for the next two years and if you check the official boro site, the new training kit has the garmin logo
the best kit I\'ve seen in the last 10 years... NOT!!!!!!!! C\'mon Spain!
With errea we always had the chance to vote for the home shirt - not this year !!!
A so called big brand comes in and we are suddenly fobbed off with somebody elses shirt, in our colours - at least it\'s not black and bloody white like the training kit. I buy my boy the training kit every year, but he wont be wearing black and white - ever !!!
Errea always seemed to take no care in design for shirts. Just try to make them look like other designs. Like last years Boro shirt was a try-t0-be-adidas.
Before that they had 0 white and a cop off Nike.
It\'s a cheap teamwear in anywhere...
we voted for it to be on last years kit and now its gone
Its just any other red kit - the band makes the boro distinctive
family have lived here for 6 generations
until you live here dont judge you creep
If we go straight back up i couldnt care less if they went on the pitch in penguin outfits . :side:
This obviously isn\'t really and i\'m hoping for something more retro.
It gave us a distinct identity that was instantly recognisable, we may aswell have gone to Matalan if we wanted a bland identikit.
You obviously are of the same opinion as me and probably thousands of other Boro fans who asked for the white band to be a permanent fixture.

Kits define a period in a clubs history. They are an iconic symbol of the clubs identity and the design of them must be given the care and attention that all hardcore fans lavish on their club.
Unfortunately nowadays for many sportswear brands (and unfortunately sad to say - some club management) they are just an opportunity to make the highest profit margin with the least effort - believing that fans will purchase any old tatt just because it has their beloved clubs badge located somewhere on it.
In marketing speak - the kit design/style is a key element of the clubs brand identity. Take little care over it and that sends a message to the supporters (customers) about the lack of interest the club management have in them.
That is why many contributors to this site rate \"Errea\" kits as they are one of a few manufacturers that bother to create an individual style/identity in conjunction with the clubs they supply to.
Check out John Devlin\'s excellent books \"True Colours\" for a bit of enlightenment.
daft c*nts hope you all get cancer, especially the sunderland fans? Have you seen the new umbro kit, almost as sick as the familys in sunderland
useless pricks
Get a grip all of you, this is one of the nicest shirts since 96/97 season. Stop moaning all the time, I am sick of hearing it. Just get on with supporting the team and hopefully a promotion season.
Have you all nothing better to do than moan about everything with the Boro!
arggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
It was even less funny the second time.
christ it looks like something that belongs in the mls
what a load of bull**** they should have kept the band across the front
dissapointing \'boro
