Borussia Mönchengladbach unveiled the new football kits for the 09/10 season made by Lotto.
What remains is the white home jersey with the green-black stripes. There are two new alternate kits, a green-black-striated with black shorts and a sky-blue kit. The new 09/10 kits are available to buy from Thursday, 9 July.
The new shirts all have the logo of Postbank, the new main sponsor of Borussia.
From this coming season, the Postbank will be VfL’s new main sponsor. The contract runs until 2011 with an option for a further two years until 2013.
The club and the bank have reached agreement on this contractual term, including the option, and have agreed to keep the financial terms confidential. The contract is applicable to both the Bundesliga first and second divisions.
“We are delighted that in Borussia we have secured as a partner a club with a great tradition in German football,” said Stefan Jütte, chairman designate of the Postbank. “This partnership with Borussia Mönchengladbach is a logical continuation of our activities in football. People all over the country have a soft spot for the club, which unlike many others does not have a polarising effect and has enormous fan potential,” added Jütte. With such a partnership it is thus possible for the Postbank, which operates nationwide, to use the subject of football positively in its communications with its customers.

I like the home strip.White kits with two colour stripes down one side to me always looks good (like say Lyons\' kits).
Not too sure about the away kit but I\'ve seen worse.
WE DON\'T CARE!!!
As for the shirt, it\'s not awful or it\'s not the best. It\'s an OK kit.
After aways not much exciting but I\'ve seen worst
The green and the light blue shirts are ridiculous.
The sort of lotto logos on the shoulders next to the collar are a copy of Umbro diamonds, really awful. HOS
The guy who shouts \'Give us a B ... \' lol
the kits are nice. nothing spectacular and i quite like it tha way B)
The design of the shirts is okay, but the sponsor ruins everything.
And I planned on buying a new shirt... not anymore :0
Serious question...
Why won\'t Lotto adjust their logo / icon to suit the club colors?
It seems that the Lotto \"mirrored chevrons\" logo is unique; distinct; singular; etc.
However, when they drop that red/white icon on say, Palermo or B\'Muchengladbach it looks cheap and tacky.
Adidas adjusts their stripes. Nike adjusts the swoop. Umbro adjust their diamonds. Bukta, Canterbury, et al. Only Lotto insist on substantiating the red / white color over the corporate icon.
Just thought any marketing people out there may have an idea.
Home kit is a unique original and Lotto continue to do a good job with it although it would look better imo without the collar. The away kits are also good especially the sky blue one. Unfortunately, as mentioned in other posts, the sponsor\'s yellow logo background is very jarring and spoils the overall look of the shirts.

My first kit worn at school was a Monchengladbach kit. This shirt with green shorts and white socks with a black top. Quite cosmopolitan for a Sheffield junior school in the 70s.
