Botafogo’s Home kit for the 2009–10 season, produced by FILA has been revealed. Maintaining the club’s historic black and white stripes, the release continues the partnership between the Italian manufacturer and the Rio de Janeiro side during a period of renewed domestic focus in the Brazilian top flight.
The shirt features alternating black and white vertical panels with black sleeves and white trim. Sponsor Liquigás appears across the chest and shoulders in green, while the FILA logo is placed on both the chest and shorts.
The club crest, the famous lone star of Botafogo, sits on the left side of the chest and is repeated on the shorts and socks. The full kit is completed with black shorts featuring white and green detailing, and grey socks marked with the Liquigás and FILA branding.
