Carlisle United announced that they have signed up for another two years with their kit supplier Le Coq Sportif.

As you can see the new design has been approved for the 09/10 season home, away and goalkeeper strips.

Carlisle United is to play in the new home strip on may 2, against millwall, and they hope to take delivery of replica kits, so that you can have one of your own for the summer holidays very soon after that.

Thanks to Richard

Absolutely pathetic. Looks like the designers have either

A. started using heavy amounts of LSD

or

B. somehow thought it was 1985.

Worthless.

High time they brought back the penguin kit from the 70\'s. A bit like Brum\'s one from last year but with a thin red stripe between the blue and the broad white band down the middle.

THe home one\'s not bad but the red one is cack

probably one of the most ugliest shirts i´ve seen for ages.
Usually the Le Coq Shirts aren´t that bad. But these are ludicrous.

What have the designers been taken-and where can i get it

Um, I don\'t mean to be a spoil-sport but the guy in the middle is quite clearly wearing jeans.

The goalkeeper shirt is all right but both outfielders\' kits are a disaster. :Pinch:

The red jersey looks pretty much like a Puma template of some years ago, reminds me of Czech Repulic.

There\'s something about these kits that I actually like. They seem to have a Glasgow Rangers feel to them.

everyone seems quite happy to say how this kit looks like its form the 80\'s and how bad it is. has nobody seen the style of the new england top? i like both..pretty sweet

With a lot of clubs opting for very \'now\' asymmetrical kits, I was really chuffed when Carlisle launched the \'toothpaste swirl\' kit as i saw it as, not pioneering the asymmetrical kit but showing how much fun could be had with it and I like the fact it was designed as a whole kit and not a shirt with shorts and socks.

I knew after the \'toothpaste swirl\' any kit would seem a bit boring in comparison, but this does seems a bit nothingy- a step backwards.

I know that the new England Kit has been stripped down to a neo-tradional design, but that has always suited international kit. The Kappa Wales and Italy kits are both good examples, but at club level this just seems....a bit ....(what\'s the word)...meh

Why am I always disappointed with the Carlisle kit, for LCS that is a crappy attempt. The horrible collar just finishes it for me. \"Tut Tut\"

I think its great that LCS don\'t just give each team the same kit with minimal adjustments. More make should follow suit
