love it soooo much

Well...imo it would be nicer, if this black would be a dark green. When I saw the first pics of this shirt I wasn\'t really impressed about it, but the more I see it, the more I like it.

It\'s ugly but it\'s redeemed by the salute to the old cr smith strips of the 90\'s. For that reason alone I like it :silly:

Wait? Whats with the flourescent yellow? On the celtic site and the previous showing of the kit a few days ago shows it is a dark yellow. Did they change it or what? I love the dark yellow, I hate this yellow.

How come Nike are trying to recreate the \"bumblebee\" kits anyway? It\'s not as though it\'s a well-loved classic. They were made by Umbro, and they weren\'t yellow and black either, as far as I remember, thought it was luminous yellow and dark green.

Seems like they\'re trying to create hype out of nothing.

eh i take it you are a not a Celtic fan or if you are then you must be a kid , f you know yer history.... the bumblebee was a massively popular strip at the time, 2nd highest selling away shirt we had in the 90\'s, also worn during the 98 title win and it was black and fluo yellow hence the nickname the bumblebee.....the \'hype\' you speak of has been increasing over the last few weeks from proper celtic fans of a certain age who go to the games/live in scotland so it would appear Nike have been successful with this shirt, watch the sales.... the international shirt will be worn a lot due to the fact no-one will buy it in favour of the bumblebee.

Not a follower of the SPL and don\'t care either way about teams, but this is a nice kit.

I hate to say it as I\'m a Rangers fan, but Irish has a point. You just KNOW that Rangers away kits are going to be either white or red. That one we did a couple of years ago, the black and grey stripes was excellent as were the really dark blue 3rd shirt from 2005/2006 but for the most part, our away kits are boring! Still, its not like we\'re the only ones - Celtic are equally as guilty as a couple of their away kits over the years have had more green than the home top which seems pointless to me, but there you go.

To be sure to be sure what a fine kit!

Although I live in Glasgow wearing this shirt will make me tink of the Oul country (which I have never been to) - Ireland - where nothing bad happens ever

Its not bumblebee folks...its looks like more of a contribution to this trend of neon kits recently than anything else tbh.

The new kit is obviously visually different from most of the home or away kits made by the top 3 this year, but the same approach was exactly why the majority of Celtic fans in the mid 90s loved the original. Why stick to the same boring templates and colours year in year out?Its time fans lived a bit and tried something new and embrace it which I am sure the majority of us will do.

There was a bit of a problem with the luminous colour running into the badge on the last kit that resulted in many tops been returned hence the embroidered badge this time around. By overcoming this Nike have enabled fans to buy a kit that will look good at Parkhead (and other SPL stadia) and in Europe for years to come.

As a result you would have to say the quality of the material is going to be better on this one in comparison which will be important if this is a 2 year kit. The design is clearly not 90s-esque but still nod\'s to what the 96/97 squad wore with a more updated template.

All-in-all. The 90s original was really popular but there is always a rough draft for every masterpiece.

Well done Nike, but more importantly M\'ON THE HOOPS!!!!
