Corinthians unveiled their new 09/10 Third football kit designed by Nike.

Corinthians celebrate their 99th birthday on the 1st of September and the celebrations have already begun. Made by Nike, the shirt has a classic design, inspired by European teams shirts, black stripes on the front and back and gold numbers.

The crest is identical to the home and away shirts, and has the phrase "Corinthians my life" is on the inside.

Hmm... it\'s a nice kit but again, it looks really plain... I\'m not so sure on the elasticated sleeves though...

I\'m looking into Nike\'s 09/10 templates now as I\'m trying to see what they\'ll do for the Socceroos world cup kit... and I think it\'s kinda likely they\'ll use this template for the aussie team. oh...

I like the kit... 2 rare points

1) The badge is very big...i like it.
2) I ask my self .. why a Team with a Great Sponsorship and more than 10 millon supporters need a ridiculous number of sponsors...it\'s very greedy ..or silly if each pays not much , i think.

Because they have to give money to Ronaldo, if I can recall it the sleeves and the low sponsors are like 80% to Ronaldo and only 20% to the club. I don\'t think it is fair, but maybe the chairmen of the club thinks Ronaldo is bigger than their club, dunno.

As a Corinthians supporter I think that shirt is ok without sponsors, that\'s the first time ever they got a lot of sponsors, that\'s the way they found to pay Ronaldo. Anyway, I think Nike is doing a pretty poor job around the world. I expected more about our 3rd kit, but not so bad.

Answer to LH,
Batavo is the biggest dairy industry in Brazil. They were our sponsors in 2000 when we were champions of the first FIFA club championship. Batavo has a contract until the end of this year, unless they raise their offer because next year is Corinthians centennial and it will be a huge advantage for the sponsor. Anyway, I hope Corinthians find another one because I don\'t like their logo.

forgive me i dont know where youre from mainly down to the one letter name, so if youre not british then i said it because its in the same kind of font as an old supermarket chain that scotland had to wear as a sponsor years ago, basically a kind of scottish joke.

Another thing is that if you\'re a corinthians fan may i ask what the five stars on your crest represent. Rangers have 5 stars on ours, each one representing ten league titles, now 52, and our ugly twins celtic believe we have made this star business up despite them being awarded in italy, germany, holland and many more, but they dont let silly little things like facts get in the way of their arguements!

The 5 stars represent 4 Brazilian Serie A titles and 1 World Club Championship Title.

We don\'t use the \'10 titles means a star\' thing because the Brazilian Championship was created only in 1971, so we don\'t have winners with much titles. Corinthians is the second top winner of the league, with 4 titles, loosing only to São Paulo, with 6.

About your second question, SCCPRafael already explained that, but hopefully one day they will use just the world championship\'s star...that\'s more classy.

And you could be no different than a Palmeiras\' supporter, using the time, trying to make a team which haven\'t won nothing fot 10 years be bigger than Corinthians. Do the maths. 4 is equal to 4. So Corinthians, like Palmeiras, Flamengo and Vasco, are the second teams with more titles in Brazil.
