After unveiling their brown 125 anniversary 08/09 shirt a few days ago, Coventry City fans received an exclusive first look at three potential new 09/10 kits for next season.

The club is asking fans to vote for their favourite design, the design with the most votes, after the poll closes on December 30th, will be produced and worn by the Coventry city during the 09/10 season.

Nathan Kosky, commercial director for CCFC, said: “We are excited about these fantastic new designs, which have all been warmly received by the players, but as it is the supporters who will be buying the product we feel it makes sense to involve them as much as possible in the design process.

“We hope this vote will enable us to produce a kit the fans can be proud of and one that we know they would be happy to wear themselves.”

It\'s all pretty uninspiring - if you look at Coventry\'s kit history on Historical Football Kits, you\'ll see that they were always innovative with their colour schemes and patterns, but since the late 90\'s, they\'ve just worn boring template after boring template. Perhaps they need to move to a fresher supplier, someone like Macron or Bukta, where they\'re more willing to taylor their designs to the team\'s personality, instead of just saying, \"Here\'s what Morocco or Egypt or someone else is wearing, you can have it in sky blue\".

Are you having a laugh??? BUKTA and MACRON have you seen the crap they put out? Take a look at their designs on this site and you might want to re-think your comment.
But you are right about the fact that there is nothing special about any of these kits and Coventry have become a bit ho-hum over the past few years.

I agree 100% with you. I dont buy the shirts anymore as I can wear the same shirt from ten years ago and it looks the same. We need something fresh as a club!!

speaking as a coventry fan. i would like the shorts to have been sky blue, but changing it around each season is a good thing. however, i must disagree with above post. im completly happy that we have puma, they make some of the best shirts around and the quality is unquestionable. if we canged to someone like bukta i would be upset.

I think the quality of the puma kits are gash. Bobbles and creases stay in them. The Cassidy name is a transfer. The best kit cov we have had was the one they made themselves under the \'Kit\' logo 3/4 years ago. Sky Blue and White stripes and a black and sky blue away kit. The logo isnt a badge but machined into the shirt with loads of colours, the sponsors lettering is like felt burnt in. I play regular in them and wash them every week and they still look bright and havent faded. I had a Puma 2 years ago and worn it once and it started to look shabby. This years is a big improvement but puma go for templates, mass produced from thin materials. On another front, the kit would look much better with sky blue shorts X!

I like design 3 but I think they should go with sky blue shorts

Hmmm...if Man City are to have Puma next year (as widely rumoured) these are probally similar to what we\'ll have, being sky blue and all that :unsure:

So with Puma Man City we\'ll have again twins teams:SS Lazio and Man City, like in early 90\'s when they were Umbro, and they used to dress almost the same shirt. In 95/96 exactly the same! Do you remember it?

looks like kit A is the new Puma template cause that V detail below the neck is on Feyenoord\'s new kit too, would be good if that one is picked cause we have always been given older templates along with all the other Puma championship teams.

Well, it worked out quite well on the Zenit shirt, it could\'ve been better though...
Place the blue cuffs on both sleeves and make the Gazprom logo bigger and place it more upwards, than it would be an excellent shirt
