Doncaster Rovers 09/10 Vandanel Home Kit

After unveiling their special green day shirt earlier, Vandanel and Doncaster rovers unveiled their new shirt that will be worn by Doncaster Rovers in the Championship next season and beyond.

There have been quite a few changes made to the kit from last year's. Although the colours of all aspects of the kit remain the same, there have been changed made to the design.

The most obvious change to the shirt is on the collar. The basic v-neck collar of last season has been replaced by a new crew neck collar with v-panel, adding a sportier look but that also allows for greater comfort.

Another big change has been made to the sleeves. The new Vandanel shirt incorporates plain red sleeves, as opposed to last season's hooped sleeves.

Speaking of hoops, the new kit's hoops are wider and, as a result, are fewer and have been given a black trim to each.

The Rovers' main club sponsor, Wright Investments, keep their logo prominently on the front; however, in addition to associate shirt sponsor Stoneacre (which remains on the top of the back of the shirt), the sponsor's logos are now printed onto the shirt, as opposed to embroidered - allowing for the shirt to be much lighter.

A new designed Vandanel logo and the Doncaster Rovers crest remain embroidered. DRFC replaces Doncaster Rovers on the back of the collar; however the final change to the shirt is the location of the famous 'Rovers Till I Die'. Last season saw the saying embroidered on the left sleeve - however it will now return - printed - to the bottom of the back of the shirt.

The shorts are now made up of black with a red trim, as are the socks, which now also read DRFC on the back.

The red, black and white version of the new Yeovil Town green, black and white shirt. Bothy are by Vandanel and neither looks great to me. Have to say this one paticularly looks ill fitting and the sleeves are far too wide. Slim cut sleeves (but not Kappa tight) look a lot a lot classier imo.

this shirt design is not bad why not to be the kit of doncaster rovers.

and the new sponsorship too !!??

it is just because the sponsor is new or going to be new thats why people say it looks bad or awful.

the kit before for me was better because the hoops were on the sleeves and shoulders and looked more modern.

but why not if its changed to hoops only in the middle.
don\'t you get votes from people ?

As bad as the old One Call sponsored shirt from the conference days. Il probably still buy it but im gonna get a youth size. Im not having a small adult size one when the sleeves are as wide as the shirt itself. Looks a bit ridiculous. Why dont we just get a decent kit supplier. Vandanel must be a youth group or something, or test their sizing procedures on very unproportioned adults from Lincolnshire.

Ive bought the shirt, it is miles better than it looks in that photo. It\'s obvious that shirt is miles to big for stocky, are some folk really as thick as some here?

THE SHIRT IS CLASS IN REAL LIFE SHAME ABOUT THE PHOTO THOUGH

My son has this kit and it cost a damn site more than Man Utd it cost me £45 for the shirt and shorts for an 8yr old!!! Damn ****in expensive and the Quality is terrible. I fully support the Rovers and update my son's kit yearly as it comes out near to his birthday, But after this years I am totally revising my decision. Unless they change the Quality back to the old quality or bring the price down on par with other teams them my loyalty will wain and he will be wearing his old kits or nothing from now on!!! SORT IT OUT!!
