First team squad players Keith Watson and Kevin Smith today modelled the new Nike Dundee United away kit for season 09/10. The kit is set to go on sale this Friday, 24th July from the recently refurbished club store and online.

The new away kit is along traditional lines, with the white shirt featuring narrow black bands across the chest. In this, the Club's centenary year, the away kit has been heavily influenced by the shirts that Dundee United wore from the 1930s to the late 1960s.

Not bad.

Better if the shirts were plain with contrasting sleeves IMO, and a different brand of sponsor might have worked better

it looks like a training shirt. if they must use a pinstripe why not just go vertical as it\'s supposed to be.

pinstripe suits are made with the stripes running vertically up the suit for a reason. it looks better.

HORRIBLE, oh and fc aberdeen are big rivals of dundee and now they have the same strip. disgusting,.

It looks like a training shirt because it\'s the template from nike\'s training tops from last season.

Look at Man United\'s & Barca\'s and it\'ll be the same.

This is team wear not the official Nike supplied stuff the big clubs.

Cause we have the same supplier, the JustSport group, who have the foresight of Mystic Meg. Aberdeen\'s look considerably better, and unfortunately, I\'ll have to see this lot coming to Aberdeen and playing in this drivel.

I can understand the fact that they aren\'t sponsored by nike and are actually sponsored by carbrini but it just doesn\'t look right having a manufacturer on a kit that isn\'t made by them. surely if they are sponsored by carbrini they can get kits made by them...? can i ask do the people that moan about the nike kits know that certain teams aren\'t going to have the new templates because they aren\'t sponsored by them? especially dundee utd.

OMG, Seems like it\'s all the same twats that speak on here, Get a life, You all know ****all about footy kits, As it says above this kit is based on united kits from the 30\'s to the 60s as this was their original colours, Nike are still the best sportswear manufacturers in the world. I\'m away back to my normal life now, Hasta la vista sad people, P.S What do u all do mid season when there is no new kits? It\'s probably just 1 person hahahahahhahahh ah

this is a load of crap. it looks like a training strip and the home on looks like a t-shirt. united deserve more than this. and its a load of crap that it is based on old strips, its just another cheap nike template so the people at nike dont have to do any work.
