We've seen some shady leaked pictures before, but here are some good pictures of the new Everton 09-10 Le Coq Sportif home football kit which will be available in the FSC shop soon.

The new Everton 09-10 kit is not yet officially revealed.

The original 80\'s version of this shirt was class (like the team that wore it) but this looks like a cheap far east copy.... What a shame because I think EFC will come good next season?

Louis looks cool. B)

I know it\'s an homage to the 1985 kit, a kit that means a lot to Everton fans, but I honestly think it\'s awful. Sorry.

Hopefully, having to play in such an embarrassing kit won\'t have too much of a negative psychological effect on the players.

All the best for next season, Everton.

Exactly.

Why on Earth would they tailor the shirt it like that? It makes no sense whatsoever. :0

Agree completley.
I normally love retro style kits but this is really rubbish.
Also the socks look really bad too, why is the LCS logo at the front of the turndown?!

Hey Digger NUFC Everton might come good next season, but the fact remains your off to blackpool and peterborough. When you\'re on the way back from doncaster and s****horpe on a cold wednesday night and your getting thumped at cardiff, everton will be sitting just nice in the upper reaches of the premiership. I just hope michael owen suits this shirt!

And why would you concerned about that? It\'s not like the kits will clash.

I honestly think the kit is brilliant. Better than the ****e Umbro was producing. It\'s something different at least!

I agree with this completely. At least this template will be unique to Everton. Last season our shirt was almost identical to all other Umbro shirts.

I agree with the guy 3 posts up, anything is better than Umbro - they were just boring, half assed, rip off merchants.......\"Blue shirt, random white line or 2, OK we are done, £40 please!\"

I still think it is good looking, after going back and looking at it again, it gets a bit better looking. Just a shame about the seem on the chest, makes it look a bit like a summer dress.

And the guy who wrote \"epic fail\" - congratulations on your unique use of the most over used, generic internet slang. Not only is it a non applicable term in this topic of discussion, you didn\'t even say why!

The tailoring of it makes it look like maternity wear, why couldn\'t they just have made the front out of one piece of material?

The V should also have been smaller and come to a point. For the people knocking Umbro, you do end up with generic template kits, but I reckon if Everton had stuck with them this season, they\'d have produced something much better than this thing.

I\'m sorry, but that is just dreadful. Just imagine some guy with man boobs wearing one - it\'ll look completely ridiculous.

0 # 2009-06-03 11:15
Very clever to put a man boob holder on the front of the shirt. This will allow the supporters to consume more pies and therefore raise extra club revenue....This really is one of the worst shirts I have seen in many years. NIce idea to pay homage to the 80\'s but this absolutely stinks. I bet the fans are gutted !

Nice idea, poor outcome.
Sorry, Forest Fifer, but why should a lad with man\'s boobs wear this thing. Football jerseys are meant to be worn while playing football, they are not meant as everyday attire. I think the streets of Britain would look much better with less, or no if possible, replica and tracksuit wearing men.

The white bit on the front ruins the kit, if it\'d been shorter and didn\'t have those seams joining it across the shirt it would have been OK and been a good enough homage to the 83/85 kit.

Instead it looks hideous, don\'t know why but it kinda reminds me of that Italy away shirt a few years ago but with the colours inverted.

What?...... Is it just me or does everybody else not have a clue what that says? oh and where I think you are trying to spell was (or WASS as you have spelt it) it only has 1 s. For future reference and spellind tips (e.g. it\'s not DA the word is the) please buy a dictionary to prevent yourself looking like a complete fool.

I thought everton and umbro had something good going, but I guess not. I mean le coq sportif are a step down in quality from umbro in my opinion. And to guy who said about a blue Cardigan with a White t-shirt? I tried it, good point mate! LOL. I like Everton and hope the do well, but that\'s a nasty strip, hopefully the away kit etc isn\'t the template.

Maybe the new Rangers strip is like this. Then the boob pockets would definetly be needed for their fans!

SO MUCH POTENTIAL.

great idea, poorly finished. the top half doesn\'t need the daft seam across, would have prefered a full V coming to a point not a straight edge and finishing further up. Can we make LCS and everton rethink liek feyenoord?

That is just a horrible shirt, by a sub-standard supplier. If you\'re going to use shirts from the past as inspiration, it should be done properly (such as Arsenals dark red one), otherwise it\'s best to be avoided. I wouldn\'t mind if it was an indentikit as long it was looked credible. These new kits are just horrible.

I can\'t wait for the Le Coq Sportif sponsership to end so Everton can go back to Puma or something.

Don\'t Nike own Umbro now? Anyway, judging by fulhams away shirt worn against Newcastle this season, they have sacked thier own designers and stuck with umbro\'s. All plain yellow, with a random black square/spike thing by the under arm.

Puma can be hit and miss, but thier hit\'s are fantastic. Same with Adidas - thier good kits are the best.

Also, if anyone has ever seen Napoleon Dynamite, it looks like the T-shirt that Uncle Rico wears
