FC Basel unveiled their new neon yellow 09/10 away kit made by Nike. The New kit replaces the previous gray away kit.

The official colour name is "volt" – also known as neon yellow, FC Basel and supplier Nike explained.

The shorts, as well as the collar and a stripe along the shoulders of the jerseys are dark blue - the official colour is "dark obsidian.

The kit has "dry fit" fabric, a technology, which transports moisture to the outside and prevents the shirt from sticking to your body.

Looks a bit like a tacky, commercialized Barca away or third from a couple years back. Forget which one.

I don\'t like the dark stripe up top- too abrupt and stops at the sleeve. No continuity and seems like a sore, jagged slash. Not a big fan of this kit.

I hate this damn neon highlighter-colored fad. It seriously needs to stop. I can\'t believe my club succumbed to this stupidity. The last away strip (the silver one) was so cool that I would have expected much much better than this utter abomination. I don\'t want to have to look at that eyesore all season! Why, FCB, why?? A golden shade of yellow would have looked awesome, but this neon trash sucks. At least the shorts and socks look alright.
I still look forward to this upcoming season. Glory Glory FC Basel!!

Ignoring the colour ( which is difficult) If you actually look for design features you will notice that there are none whatsoever. It seems all Nike shirts this year are free of design, quality , innovation and style and mere t shirts. Its like they are saying \'don\'t you know who we are you should be greatful to wear our swoosh\' regardless of the fact its a piece of crap !

Nasty, nasty nasty. A colour scheme suitable only for highlighter pens and hi-visibility safety vests, some half-finished black piping and plonking the \"aspo\" logo randomly on the shoulder.

Nike have done a good job on the Arsenal, Aberdeen, Villa and Oxford kits and then belch out this aciiied lemon pile of crud.

Must have been quality controlled by Stevie Wonder and Andrea Bocelli.

FC Basel fans should sue Nike for this pig of a kit.

Please, please, please - put an end to this neon, majic marker, highlighter yellow colour once and for all. This is nothing new. Not original. The only time this colour ever looked good was on some of the old B. Dortmund shirts - the one in particular was when they won the European Cup Final. However, that looked good because yellow is a Dortmund colour - it is not an FC Basel colour. The 09/10 Oldham Away shirt is far better.

just wanted to let you guys know that it was a basle dude that introduced the coulours to barcelona back in the days. this may explain why basel chose the same away kits for this year.
